Fantastic word game

In less that two years we should be at 4000 pages, and we beat the 2000 pages before our 5th year anniversary on December 3rd.

Happy Halloween and congrats to everybody on the 2000 pages at FWG, who is next to have the 20,000th reply, this is 19,999.

The irony is not lost on anyone that the longest thread on a radio website is a non-radio thread which keeps chugging along and offers a hearty congratulations to our International Director of Band Camp who posted #20,000.

I'm too lazy to check (and I gotta head to work) but my failing memory thinks that it was also dmargalotti who also had post #E10,000 but maybe not. Someone check back and report who had post #10,000 and also the first post on Page 1,000. Have a great day gang. Stay warm.

Posted before me are the fantastic contributions of those who went to considerable trouble to design our little neighborhood, in such a way that we would know all who belong here (and strangers who claim to hang out repeatedly) based upon their knowledge (or total lack thereof and total ineptitude) about the property lines and boundaries.

At Walmart, depending on the location, sometimes you can find a full grocery store with produce, deli and a bakery, and yes I remember being inside a Supercenter in Yakima.

The one in Yakima has good prices on dog/cat food, and other groceries.

WOW...pull out the confetti, fireworks, a 20,000 sign at Times Square, and give dmargalotti a book deal please on how he likes to post on TFWG! You also got 10,000 as well...I can't believe how lucky dmargalotti is.

Apples come in many different varieties including MacIntosh and the apples of my eye which is all of you.

Welcome to msugrad2000. Please come back often. I'll post the rules for you if you need them.

All of you, even our newest guests, know the rules of Fantastic Word Game by heart, in case the Game Czar shows up unannounced, just as 2011 beauty parlors know that they better have a liquor license conspicuously posted on the premises and server cards readily available when the liquor board shows up unannounced after hearing on the radio that they serve alcohol.

After hearing that they serve alcohol, six heifers loaded up the Aveo and headed down to Illusions, dressed in the "isopropyl rubbing alcohol" Halloween outfits they had made up especially for that gag and that wordplay, but the A/C was out, and by the time they got to the club, they had all sweated through their costumes, and their makeup was running, ruining their leopard skin seat covers with their flopsweat, so they ended up going home and wallowing in ice cream novelties, as usual.

Incidentally, welcome msugrad2000!
When you can throw in some ellipses, or maybe a thoroughly-worded run-on sentence as above. It keeps WMC on his toes. ;)

Wallowing in ice cream novelties, as usual, would be an excellent way of cooling down on a hot summer day, especially if your A/C is out, not to mention a sweet treat to boot, but on a cold November morning like today, a nice cup of hot chocolate would be more of my cup of tea, but since it's not a cup of tea, I guess one would have to consider it hot chocolate.

Thanks for the welcome and pointers quadraphonic. Hopefully I'll get better at this as we go on. It's funny as can be reading some of these posts!

Marshmallows on hot chocolate is a tasty treat as is a newbie coming in and already knowing the rules of bolding your beginning clue, which is the previous contribution's ending clue, and then bolding your new ending clue which may be a word, phrase, proper name, or pretty much anything as long as it makes sense.

Fine, I can play that game too. :p

msugrad, here is the rundown of your TFWG/PowerWorld Board of Directors:

WMC: Game Czar; Weekend Warrior
quadraphonic: Director of TPS Reports
dmargalotti: International Director of Band Camp; Director of Early Morning Contributions
Silkie: Director of Fun; Head Mixologist; Chief Librarian; Manager of Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits; Weekend Warrior
Darth_Vader: Director of Internet Technology

As long as it makes sense, you can post on pretty much any topic you'd like but if you really want to get in good with the regulars, you'll make a point of mentioning band camp, Olivia Newton-John, and Megan McCormack as often as possible.

Possible Megan McCormick and Olivia Newton-John sighting updates are welcomed and encouraged because they add a certain class to the place, much like Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits, and the library staff.

Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits, and the library staff made for a great Halloween party last night and for those of you who couldn't make it because of the lingering power outages in the northeast, we will put some videos up on You Tube that you can watch once your power is restored.
