It out of all the things JVR could have said was that too many band camp expeditions in one week would cause mass hysteria because there can never be too much of a good thing as any of our band campers around the world would attest.

As any of our band campers around the world would attest they really go to all that trouble because of what they learn and what they see going on, and the off chance that Olivia or Megan will make an appearance.

The off chance that Olivia or Megan will make an appearance is enough reason to enroll with us but, for the parents, it's that summer educational experience for the kiddies.

That summer educational experience for the kiddies just goes to show you that learning continues even after school has been dismissed.

School has been dismissed for the Summer (for those not required to go to Summer school), so go out and have some fun! 8)

And don't forget to return to class in September.

Go out and have some fun before band camp, because who knows, you could be playing that instrument for hours.

Hours after the bar closed, the guys were hanging out behind a building drinking more beer.

Drinking more beer when already drunk is really not good for you, unless you have a designated driver.

A designated driver is always important and necessary to safely enjoy a night of drinking with your buddies.

Drinking with your buddies responsibly is the way to go.

The way to go depends on whether you're male or female.

I trust that I won't need to explain that one!

Male or female, tall or short, or rich or poor doesn't matter because we welcome everyone to band camp.

Because that's how we roll.

We welcome everyone to band camp, but it's each camper's responsibility to check the route here so they do not get lost, show up late, and miss orientation.

There is no excuse for tardiness, unless you show up with Olivia Newton-John or Megan McCormick or Sweetie Pie in your entourage.

Get lost, show up late, and miss orientation are the three steps to getting kicked out of band camp.

Since I was forced into band camp to play the trumpet, you have no idea how badly I want to get out.

Getting kicked out of band camp is not something to be proud of so we hope that everyone adheres to the rules and regulations that are posted throughout each building on campus.

Each building on campus welcomes every camper, especially the trumpet players.

That's what my son plays in the band. Not the one with Van Morrison, but the one at his school.

The trumpet players were adding their own special touch to our cool rendition of the mambo. 8)
