Fantastic word game

Since last winter was so cold I thought I might start wearing hats since I have no hair to keep my head warm but I decided against it because I recently read on a web blog that Megan McCormick is attracted to middle aged bald men.

Keep warm by snuggling with library interns and you'll go home smelling of perfume and sporting a big smile and you'll have a hard time convincing your wife that there was nothing going on because, after all, she can read you like a book.

Memo to the Game Czar: When you go to the library, take out the books, not the librarian.

The fondness and appreciation of Megan McCormick has added a lot of spice to our otherwise drab existence.

McCormick? Spice? See what I did there? And once again, as soon as I post something, two or three other missing posts suddenly appear. What's goin' on? It's maddening! On the other hand, if we have to keep writing extra posts, we'll reach 3000 pages really soon.

Drab existence is what happens to people who never contribute, because they don't know what they are missing.

Better check in continually, like it's storm updates, because posts come and go today.

They are missing the bull's-eye because the nearsighted archers are aiming at the logo on the nearby Target store instead of at the real target.

Target is one of the stores opening up on Thanksgiving so shoppers can get a jump on their Black Friday sales.

There is nothing I want and nothing I need so badly that you would ever see me dealing with the crowds in the stores Thursday night or any time on Black Friday. Nope, I will be home on the sofa sleeping off my Turkey hangover. Happy Thanksgiving, friends!

Black Friday sales were very helpful in supplying actors to portray Robinson Crusoe's servant in the upcoming African-American movie version of Robinson Crusoe.

Hey, there was a black Honeymooners and there's going to be a black Annie so why can't there be a black Robinson Crusoe and Friday?

Robinson Crusoe has inspired many other books, movies and TV series, including "Lost", "Gilligan's Island", and "Swiss Family Robinson".

"Swiss Family Robinson" proved to be a very popular motion picture for Disney in 1960 and was a much better choice than the original concept of "Polish Family Vodzgravlieuwicznakovski," not to mention being much easier to pronounce.

Before any film historians complain, yes, I know there was an earlier version filmed in 1940.

Pronounce it any way you want to but I will just say a simple THANK YOU to all of our PowerWorld and band camp volunteers who will be spending some time down at band camp Thanksgiving morning for our annual PowerWorld Giving Back Day (PWGBD as most prefer).

The little band campers plus the incredible kitchen staff will be serving a terrific breakfast to those less fortunate. Then, everyone else will be serving up a terrific Thanksgiving Day dinner later on. Again, thank to those who are volunteering part of their day, early or late, to help out. LARR, since scanman isn't here anymore, I've assigned you to the cafeteria to help out the ladies there. You have big shoes to fill. scanman was much loved by the caf ladies in his short time here.

Our annual PowerWorld Giving Back Day (PWGBD as most prefer) will be followed by a huge Thanksgiving feast in the cafeteria for all band camp kids, staff, and volunteers so be sure to bring your appetite.

Bring your appetite to any Thanksgiving dinner where someone's taken a whole lot of time and care to make a whole lot of food, and you probably won't be disappointed unless you're a glutton.

Football, family, friends and faith above all, are characteristic of Thanksgiving in America, although I am kind of wondering how they managed football practice on the Mayflower, meaning the ship that sailed in 1620 as opposed to the moving van hired by Robert Irsay to move the Colts to Indianapolis.

One of the interns reported that WMC was really scoping out the band camp for possible hiding places for such gems as hidden pumpkin pies, sweet potato pies, mince pies and the gravy recipe for the mashed potatoes. Seems the girls played Olivia Newton-John records to lure him back to his office and played them until he fell asleep .

In Baltimore are museums, the National Aquarium, the Science Center, the acoustically perfect Lyric Opera House, Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Harborplace and the zoo, where Simon & Garfunkel said it is all happening.

It's a nice place to visit, but given today's situation and circumstance it is better to have great memories and darned good achievements and accomplishments. Also nice when you attain to the age at which you no longer have to prove anything.

Happening this Friday (the day after Thanksgiving or TDAT as some prefer) will be our annual band camp Christmas tree lighting ceremony and this year the band camp kids will be performing a musical tribute to Olivia Newton-John.

A musical tribute to Olivia Newton-John will likely feature some surfing Santa music as well, considering that it is late spring down under.
