Fantastic word game

Me and my friends ain't never been able to understand how come all of our teachers what we learned from when we was in school were always correcting our grammar.

"I ain't finished my homeork, teacher." "Where is your grammar?" "She's home baking cookies." :)

Our grammar[/] has been out in fullforce today as we direct all the new band campers to where they need to go.

Great start to the move-in weekend. I've been walking around band camp all day long. Saw scanman helping out the cafeteria ladies, great job scanman. Kenny came into town a little early to help out before heading down to Illusions. He and dmargalotti are rocking the house down there right now. And I saw LARR helping various families move stuff in while, at the same time, try some new punnetry on them. Saw a lot of eyerolling from them though. I think they were more interested in getting the kids moved in at the moment.

Where they need to go after they've arrived at band camp is indicated by those fantastic volunteers who have opted to help out this weekend!

Thanks WMC! Always happy to do whatever I can!

This weekend Is going great, as Dave and I our finishing up here at Illusions and we get one last request before last call and it's You're the one I want by The lovely Olivia Newton-John.

The lovely Olivia Newton-John once asked in a song, "Have you never been mellow," and even though I have been mellow, the question was worded in such a peculiar way that I wasn't sure if a "Yes" answer would be saying "Yes, I have" or "Yes, I have never."

Quite rightly!

I have never heard of some of the most unheard-of things I've ever heard of.

I bought cheap camping gear this summer; this will be the winter of my discount tent.

Of mice and men was the theme of a book detailing the lives of Walt and Roy Disney and the creation of Mickey and Minnie.

"Of mice and men" would have made a good title, too, but John Steinbeck had already used it.

Mickey and Minnie will be dropping by the kids band camp tomorrow for some fun and games but it's actually open to everyone so the older band campers can enjoy it too.

Great day again today folks. Only a few minor snafus but nothing that couldn't be taken care of quickly. Jeff and LARR, I've added cleanup duty to your rosters of stuff to do because I noticed today that many of those puns that you throw at each other bounce to the floor and die but you don't bother to clean them up so please remember to do that from here on in. Let's keep band camp from becoming a sad mountain of post-it notes. K? Thanks. :)

Too bad summer's coming to an end since that will spell the end of warm weather, along with summer vacations and other warm weather related activities.

Plum tired from working out in the hot sun today, I fear that the sunshine is wrinkling my face and making me look like a prune.

(See what I did there? Mister WMC, I will be glad to clean up my share of the puns if Jeff will clean up his share. And since he has plagiarized a few of my puns, I suggest that we rearrange the letters of the Post-It Notes so they become Stop-It Notes. I hope no further action will be necessary.

A prune look was the in thing this afternoon as much of the younger band camp set spent a bit too much time in the pool before finally wading out for dinner.

Wading out for dinner is what you have to do after you find they won't deliver pizza to the Okeefenokee Swamp.

Apologies to LARR if I've unintentionally swiped a pun or two...I've never found time to check out all 3110 pages (and counting...)

Georgia is the home of former President Jimmy Carter, whose presidential legacy was marred by the Iran hostage crisis, economic malaise, and a bizarre encounter with a killer rabbit.

Your garden should have had border plants for vegetarian critters to enjoy, seeding flowers (including sunflowers) for the birds and lots of little band campers eager to learn how to garden and prepare for winter canning and enjoyment in the lounge.

Yes, while anybody can sit in the world of glitz and glam, seeking out their own and anything else they can grub together, it is our good deed band camp accomplishments we recall, doing as much good as we can in the light while they sit in the dark.
