Fantastic word game

My Favorite places on Planet Earth are of course, The PowerWorld Band Camp, Illusions on Saturday night, and the California beaches in the Summertime.

The California beaches in the Summertime are something I need to experience so I think it's time for a road trip to Kenny's place.

Starting sometime tomorrow because we have the Rockfest tonight.
 
A road trip to Kenny's place would give us the opportunity to see some beautiful California girls whereas, a trip to Denny's place would only give us the opportunity to eat some mediocre food.
 
A legend at band camp was the aspiring chef who assisted Miss Silkie in the commissary one year and came up with several creative music-themed foods including horn flakes, flute loops, fiddle sticks, tea and trumpets, piccolo relish and oboe macaroni.

And she also decorated a cake with a tuba icing. :)
 
Quick meal recipes are contained in one of the cookbooks housed in the band camp library's reference books section and if you don't know where that is, just ask one of the lovely young library interns.
 
One of the lovely young library interns pointed out the number of people who turn off all of the lights outside at night, and turn on all of the lights inside at night, and then open the drapes wide, sometime between the time they left the house and before they returned to the house, before they call Band Camp Security to complain that just because they tempted a burglar doesn't mean the burglar had to take them up on it.

The only place that should be completely dark at night, inside and out, is a school, which for some reason makes ne'er do wells nervous when there is no lighting. Fortunately the library, diner and lounge get it right.

If you don't like all the outside gotcha lights close yer drapes, instead of complaining that we keep you from showing off your priceless artifacts.
 
Take them up on it and pay a visit to Illusions some Saturday night for a Rockin good time with Kenny, WMC, and occasionally Dave.

Dave hasn't come back full time to the 80s Rockfest since his return to us from his alien adventures so it's still officially Kenny and WMC's 80s Rockfest but I'd be perfectly happy with Kenny & Dave & WMC's 80s Rockfest.
 
A Rockin good time with Kenny, WMC, and occasionally Dave sure is fun for most but for some reason, ever since my alien encounter and confinement I've had an aversion to certain 80's tunes which I think it do to the fact that the whole time I was among them, they kept playing a 24/7 loop of Milli Vanilli.
 
A 24/7 loop of Milli Vanilli playing over the air sounds like the type of stunt a radio station would pull just before flipping to an eighties-based classic hits format.
 
An eighties-Based classic hits format is one of my favorites, but I have to go internet streaming to listen to that particular format, because here in Fresno all classic hits stations mainly R&B only, but we do have two classic rock stations.

Fresno did have a "Jack" format for a while, which had a heavy mix of 80' New Wave, mainstream, Hard rock, and some Rap hits, we have no true 80s stations here like K-Earth or KOLA which I stream along with various JACK stations,but I'm not worried about it because my music library is big and Saturday it's time to rock again at Illusions.

We do have two classic rock stations playing at Kenny's house, though thankfully not at the same time because that would be hard to listen to and might make people think there was actually a song called Smoke on the Freebird.
 
Smoke on the Freebird, must be one of those lingering effects, but maybe the classical station will help, since it is the one which the interns tune in when they serve tea to visiting, bona fide dignitaries/prospective benefactors who are interested in our band camp.

I hear tell that one of the interns was complimented on her education and understanding of historical timelines for knowing that the first woman appointed to the United States Supreme Court was nominated on July 7, 1981. I think WMC must have sent the letter of commendation to the fine arts department of the band camp in Santa Barbara to have it professionally matted and framed by the fine arts interns.

Visiting, bona fide dignitaries/prospective benefactors who are interested in our band camp will be given what we refer to as "The Royal Treatment," which is a glamorous way of saying that Miss Silkie will treat them to a bowl of Royal gelatin and a bottle of Royal Crown Cola.

There might be a George Brett "pine tar" joke in there somewhere. I'll leave that for Jeff.
 
Royal Crown Cola, as far as I know, does not contain pine tar; though that might in fact make the stuff taste better.

I'm a Dad's Root Beer fan myself...
 
Better to put bitter butter into a bowl of cake batter than to use no butter at all.

I learned that from Miss Silkie. Nobody will notice the bitter butter if there's enough super-sweet icing on the cake. By the way, Jeff, you do know that George Brett played for the Royals, right? No butter at all might make a dish healthier, but I really like the taste of butter and am not opposed to adding it to my food to improve the flavor.
