Fantastic word game

One of my favorite shows has always been The Rockford Files and I've often dreamed of being a private detective living in a trailer on the beach in Malibu while driving a really cool gold-colored Pontiac Firebird.

Women are better at it than men which is why Miss Silkie is our Chief Mixologist, Head Librarian, Director of Fun and Owner/Manager of Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits.

That's why we love her. She does it all. And, hey, maybe she'll spin a tune or two tomorrow night at the new Illusions. Join Dave, Kenny and myself for another edition of the 80s Rockfest. And then to Denny's later on.

These jobs are necessary to keep band camp going in all its glory and to keep dmargalotti fully involved as International Director of Band Camp.

The new Illusions is the place to be to watch The Big Game (the SuperBowl as some prefer but we don't own the rights to the name and we don't want to get fined for saying it) and the halftime show with Lady Gaga which is about to start.
 
Our band camp kids enjoyed it immensely and so did I especially the last part when she was wearing even less than she was wearing earlier.

Looks like dmargalotti and I are the only two to show for work today. Thanks for coming in, sir.
 
It was starting to get hot outside so we thought it would be a good time to go for a topless drive.

For those of you who may be new to the game, it's not what you think.
 
Activities which you may encounter throughout your life include welcoming new members to the TFWG (as I prefer) family.

Let's welcome The Harsh Reality to our little game. Welcome, Harsh. Seems you know what's going on but, in keeping with tradition, I do need to explain what few little rules we have:

-Please begin your contribution with the bolded ending clue from the previous contribution
-Please bold your new ending clue
-Please use one sentence and one sentence only. Not half a sentence, not a quarter of a sentence but a full sentence. Please refrain from using semicolons as they make your Game Czar's head explode.

If they'd like to join TFWG but aren't sure of what's required or expected, WMC will be leading a new member class that will meet each Wednesday at 7:30am at the local Denny's restaurant.
 
The local Denny's restaurant is so orderly because they have our beloved Game Czar to keep things running smoothly whenever our whole crew shows up on the scene, just as we know we can always count on him here at the Fantastic Word Game's Band Camp Department.

To neutralize all of the hot air coming from within, the lovely young library interns will be happy to do some jumping jacks.

Harsh, keep in mind that you can also feel free to peruse any or all of the previous 3,459 pages of our little game. I neglected to mention (but you figured it out anyway) that any dialogue outside of the game contribution (like this dialogue right here) should preferably be italicized.

We have been going strong now for 10 years (as of Dec 6, 2016). We have evolved a bit over time but our core mission remains the same and so does our long range goal of reaching 10,000 pages. These days, we are a small army but one that continues to march onward.

Please ignore the fact that dmargalotti hasn't actually welcomed you. He means well, he really does. He just hasn't been the same since the alien probing.
