Fantastic word game

Our days and weeks and years here at TFWG (as I prefer) have been very productive but sometimes it's hard to believe I've been doing this for nearly 15 years of my life.

15 years of my life have gone by without seeing our exalted Game Czar completely ignoring the end clue to my previous post but all of that came to an end sometime late yesterday.

Okay, Mr. G.Z. What have you got to say for yourself? Had anyone else been guilty of such an infraction, I'm sure you would have known exactly what to see as you dispensed demerits and timeouts. Go ahead, we're waiting.

Sometime late yesterday the exalted Game Czar, aka EGC totally blew an opportunity to dedicate an entire page to self flagellation upon discovering his faux pas, and so the Librarian has researched the matter and notes that our visual aid will more clearly depict our expectations.

Monty Python has exhibited the exact penance and disparagement to which I shall subject myself for somehow missing dmargalotti's ending clue.

I have absolutely no excuses for what happened. Craploads of demerits on myself. I bow before each of you asking for salvation and forgiveness.

Meanwhile, it's Friday so everyone have a great weekend. We'll see you tomorrow night at the new Illusions.

dmargalotti's ending clue was certainly a good one and I don't know what happened that made me miss his entire contribution other than perhaps I turned back a page to catch up on contributions and forgot to go back to the end again.

Again, we had a great time last night at Illusions dancing the night away, riding the mechanical bull, and eating some great grub afterwards at Denny's prepared, as always, by kenny.

Game czaring must certainly be a gruelling assignment, considering the consolations offered by the library interns that the cleaning crew discovered in the waste basket of a certain corner office which consisted of cupcake holders, smoothie straws, the wrappers from homemade chocolates, coconut shells and more.

Please do not bow to me for salvation and forgiveness. Thankfully I am just not worthy of the bow, and you have exceeded the expectations of the Fun Department, so all forguv.

Cupcake holders, smoothie straws, the wrappers from homemade chocolates, coconut shells and more could have been used by The Professor to rescue the castaways from Gilligan's Island.

The rest of you seem to think that I have been Game Czar since Day 1 but that's just not true.

I don't really know when I became Game Czar but it certainly hasn't been all 15 years. Someday, I'll troll the archives and try to figure it out. In fact, I'll be heading to sunny Florida again in about 12 days (on 9/11). Should there be some crappy weather during my trip, perhaps I'll go back in time. Or not. :)

Such is the life of a Game Czar who in the midst of all of his game czaring manages to find time to escape to the sunny shores of Florida for some frolicking with the locals.

Frolicking with the locals by the beautiful sea in September tends to give visitors a sense of proper perspective upon seeing the locals going for a swim in business attire just because the water felt so good on a golden warm September day.

On a golden warm September day, I sat quietly on a lonely stretch of beach that had just a few weeks earlier been host to thousands of out-of-town visitors during the height of summer, and pondered my next major band camp decision.

My next major band camp decision, once we reach our Quest To Page 2000 (QTP2K as most prefer) which is right around the corner, is whether we should begin a Quest To Page 3000 (QTP3K), Quest To Page 4000 (QTP4000) or simply a Quest To The Next Page (QTTNP).

I'm open to suggestions. :)
