Fantastic word game

Yacht transportation to some of our tropical off-the-beaten-path band camp locations has been enjoyed in the past by dmargalotti in his position of International Director of Band Camp (IDBC).

Happy New Year everyone. Congratulations, Stuart, on getting the last contribution for 2021 and the first one for 2022. Mr. Allen would be pleased, I'm sure. We are at Page 2025. Let's see if we can make it to Page 3000 (Quest To Page 3000 or QTP3K) by December 31, 2022. That's less than 3 contributions per day. We can do it if Stuart doesn't disappear again. Onward we go!
 
His position of International Director of Band Camp (IDBC), possibly may include a perk of checking an extra piece of luggage on an airline flight for free.

I did have this thought. Maybe it is time to do a little recruiting for TFWG. We can come up with (an approved) mini advertisement to be put in our signature area. (this is actually not a joke)
 
Costly advertising is not what TFWG is all about so, Stuart, you come up with something cheap and we will present it to the PowerWorld Board of Governors at their next meeting in a couple of weeks.

I don't know how to do signature things, I guess I'm more technically illiterate than I thought. Also, this is really the only Board I post on here so my advertising would only been seen by people already here.
 
Their next meeting in a couple of weeks will offer a tutorial covering the finer points of profile updates.
 
Updates to any personal information will need to be submitted to Human Resources by January 31st.

Is that all it is, Miss Silkie? I do that through updating my profile? Whoda ever thunk that? Perhaps I'll have a go at that while others have a go of the Fantastic Word Game. Although I think I prefer to have a go AT the Fantastic Word Game. Or perhaps join us on the Fantastic Word Game.
 
By January 31st the library will be ready to update the Dewey Decimal Card for WMC's book, How I Learned To Apply A Signature To Promote the Fantastic Word Game.

Though you will probably not show up on the Library of Congress Classification system.
 
The New York Times Best Sellers list might still appreciate proper writing, but it is not necessarily where new authors would submit a book.
 
It's material would be expressed as it is material, as opposed to the more proper "its material" in this case, but back on to the subject, it is up to each person to decide that the material is not suitable for him or her, not for money, love, position or prestige, and that is how we teach our band campers.
 
We teach our band campers, plus our family of contributors, the proper usage of contractions and other punctuation procedures.

Stuart, Mr. Allen would like to see you in his office Monday morning. IT'S imperative that you arrive there on time.
 
"The Proper Usage Of Contractions And Other Punctuation Procedures" was a Grammar book Mr. Allen used to compliment one of the many fine Warriner's Grammar Books we used in his class.

I just spoke with Mr. Allen. He wants to take Miss Phyllis and I to see "Journey" (with opening band "Toto") when they play in Charlotte in April. (This is not an Advertisement). Mr. Allen knows there is only 1 more group on my "bucket list" and that band would be "ELO". I have been waiting years to see Journey!!!!!!!!!!!

His class is second to none, and his drivers are first rate too, even though for the task at hand they don't really have the finest looking attire.

The finest looking attire may draw compliments, but not from an inanimate object such as a grammar book, which cannot compliment other books, teachers, or anything else.

Because, in Stuart's sentence, the correct word should have been "complement."
 
Anything else that trashes Stuart's sentence writing, punctuation and spelling abilities may cause our good friend Stuart to disappear yet again which we certainly would not want to happen.

Because we love Stuart. It's good to have him here. Good thing he takes everything with a grain of salt.
 
We certainly would not want to happen seems to be standard script fare with some people when the librarian has had quite enough nonsense from favored, fair-haired businesses, maintains calm composure after waiting on freakin' hold for 32 minutes and then explains the facts of life for some.
 
For some reason certain players of TFWG still have not realized my negative behaviors are in the past as one of my goals is
to make our game great again! 🇺🇸
 
Make our game great again is our New Year mantra, and I hope that we will still be going strong in July.
