Fantastic word game

Furtiveness and apprenhension went by the boards when I entered the Krispy Kreme booth and realized the mystery man was really an 87 year old Richard Simmons lookalike.

For your information: "Seventy Seven Sunset Strip" is song lyric, the theme to the TV Series, 77 SunSet Strip, which introduced Ed "Kookie" Byrnes to hoards of panting teens in the late 1950s. I hate having to explain this to you whipper snappers. Meanwhile, get off my lawn!

All I remember:
Seventy Seven Sunset Strip.
Seventy Seven Sunset Strip.
Seventy Seven Sunset Strip.

The street that wears a fancy label
That's famed in song and fable.
Exciting people pass you by
Including a private eye.

Now where was I:

Napoleon Dynamite was a hugely successful movie in 2003.

Shirin Ebadi was the 2003 winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and while it's a pretty cool achievement, it won't help you with your TFWG PowerWorld Executive Club membership application.

TFWG PowerWorld Executive Club membership application forms may be obtained by writing to the TFWG Grand Poobah and submitting three Rice Crispies box tops with a check, made payable to Cash, in the amount of $39.95.

This Christmas, given the state of the economy, the credit crisis, and the amount of people without jobs, it's going to look like the holiday really was stolen by the Grinch.

You still never said "It's a sentence" ;)

The Grinch has been working extra hours and sleeping at work this year when it comes to wrecking and stealing stuff.

Wrecking and stealing stuff seems to be the occupation of a number of CEO's these days.

CEO's these days are getting a bad rap for accepting multi-million dollar salaries and bonuses while their companies and employees are being run into the ground.

Time to invoke the Dude exception clause of TFWG which allows me, the poster immediately following a post by the Dude to choose whether I want to proceed by completely ignoring the Dudes post all together or to continue by using the last word or a combination of the last words from his post.

From his post along the Bering Strait of Russia, Soviet agent Boris Anatoly Nazbuchek could see Sarah Palin's home and he has pictures of her and "The First Dude" that are, to say the least, very interesting.

TFWG is like crack, although not nearly as destructive.

Very interesting that we're all "slamming" The Dude when, iirc, it was HE who started this VERY thread!! :):)

More responsible adults have nurtured this game to what it is today including the TFWG Game Czar (me), TPS Czar quadraphonic, and PowerWorld Linguistics Czar raptusregalitur.

PowerWorld Linguistics Czar raptusregalitur is widely-heralded as a strict deconstructionist, as far as language and usage go.

andreajesus: it's called entropy and deevolution on the individual level, and the rest of society in essence has stepped in to save an endangered fiefdom run by a once-great but fallen ruler

"Go with the flow" has never been one of raptusregaliter's favored life strategies, especially when it comes to his preferred title (Grand Ayatollah) and the spelling of his name.
