Fantastic word game

That game I'm thinking of is called Whack-A-Mole, and it popped into my mind because I suddenly realized that I would want to bash my own head in with a hammer at the mere thought of renegade game play which would see us all make contributions without any regard for the highlighted end clue.

Looks like I'll be having a few Miller Lites for breakfast this early Sunday morning. You two just settle on down.
 
At the beginning of your contribution, please make sure you capitalize the first letter of the first word unless it's a certain proper name that is not capitalized such as dmargalotti, quadraphonic, scanman01 and rosecitymedia.
 
dmargalotti, quadraphonic, scanman01 and rosecitymedia were all once standing against the wall of their respective 8th grade dances, too nervous to take the initiative in asking one of their young lady classmates if they'd like to dance.
 
The band is Alabama, who is also responsible for one of my all-time favorite tunes (and one I tend to spin a lot) "Song of the South".

Connie can be seen tapping her hoof, swinging her bell from side to side, and letting out an emphatic moo whenever it comes on the radio.
 
Part of that is true, but I wouldn't expect many native Southerners to vote for the donkey in this next election cycle.

Think things can't get any worse in this country than they are right now? Re-elect Joe Biden for 4 more years in November and we'll all find out together. Sorry, CT. I may be just throwing my vote away, but I'm on board with RFK Jr..
 
This next election cycle is triggering some feisty political comments in our little game here, which we normally don't like to see, so hopefully we won't get too deep on that stuff or I'll be forced to start mentioning our old standbys a lot more such as band camp, bottled water, TPS Reports, lovely young library interns, the 80s Rockfest, the new Illusions, Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits, Denny's, the Denny's-sponsored mechanical bull, PowerWorld LLC and the one-sentence rule.

I mean it! Don't make me do it because I will!
 
Band camp, bottled water, TPS Reports, lovely young library interns, the 80s Rockfest, the new Illusions, Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits, Denny's, the Denny's-sponsored mechanical bull, PowerWorld LLC and the one-sentence rule are all valid subjects, here at the Fantastic Word Game (FWG, as Connie, the Cajun Queen, I, and several others prefer) and we encourage our distinguished colleagues to use them at will, but be prepared for a follow-up of armbars, choke holds, suplexes (soo-plays, as Gordon Solie preferred), turnbuckles, swerves, kayfabe, shoots, belly to bellies, and a slew of other wrestling jargon to follow from yours truly and my tag team partner from Connecticut, now Vermont, but originally claiming the land of parts unknown.

No mention of Megan McCormick or The Late, yet once Lovely Olivia Newton-John, WMC?
 
Parts unknown to me are all locations, personalities and jargon related to wrestling so I hope we stay away from that too while I wonder how I forgot to mention The Lovely Megan (on behalf of dmargalotti) and The Late But Still Always Lovely Olivia Newton-John who is always watching over us along with our late lovely friend, Anyacat.

Anyacat was our Director of Energy, Tourism and Travel Tips or something like that. I can't quite recall the title, I'd have to dig into the archives. She also had something to do with Linguistics. It's been a while as she passed in November 2010, but she remains in our thoughts. She is the reason we have the never-used rule that we accept contributions in the form of a haiku. Speaking of which, April 17th is International Haiku Poetry Day. Spread some love: International Haiku Poetry Day
 
The Late But Still Always Lovely Olivia Newton-John who is always watching over us along with our late lovely friend, Anyacat would both be pleased with me mentioning that when one travels around any part of The Lone Star State, having a car is absolutely essential and you can always expect to receive the biggest bang for your buck.

In memory and with regards to Anyacat. She's also the founder of Word Association, y'know.

We live in the only place I know of that has everything you could ever want, available almost anywhere you go in 4 distinctly different sizes. Small, medium, large, and Texas-sized. I prefer everything Texas-sized. The Queen settled for something between small and medium when she said "I do" to the rambling redneck.
 
The biggest bang for your buck can be had with PowerWorld's own band camp education system.

The winter/spring sessions are almost over. The summer sessions begin just after the Memorial Day weekend with band camp move-in for our international guests happening over Memorial Day weekend. Volunteer sign ups start this week.
 
PowerWorld's own band camp education system should require mandatory grammar classes taught by the one and only Mr. Allen. 🧑‍🏫
Surgery update... Next week I am going to a Cardiologist to get clearance for the procedure. Since the blood pressure dropped during the initial surgery, my doctor thought a visit with the Cardiologist was needed.

 
The one and only Mr. Allen, from what I heard, never let his political opinions be known in the classroom because his job was to teach students like Stuart how to think, not what to think.
 
Think of the contributions we could make without thought or care of how they could be turned into trash by that other band camp, if only.
 
A merry Christmas with candy and nuts are always on the top of the band camp menu favorites lists.
 
Favorites lists here in the Linguistics Office also include candy and nuts, but omit the Christmas reference, as not only do I not observe the holiday, but I also enjoy those treats all year long.
 
Long spurs on a rooster should always run a red flag up your pole telling you not to mess around with that particular fowl.
