Fantastic word game

...all the while Betty and Veronica looked on and laughed.

(Travel Tip: The issue in Rome is not only to find a public toilet, but to find one that is reasonably clean. Other than McDonald's, on whom you can usually depend for a generally clean toilet, I found one at the side of the Ostiense, an urban dual-carriageway near the Basilica San Paulo (good luck crossing the street). A friend has found clean public toilets in hospitals.)

When I travel overseas, I am always amused by the ubiquitous American complaints about the quality of public toilets and the roughness of toilet tissue.

(Travel Tip: Finally, the public toilets in Spain--whether in restaurants, roadside stops, or shops--are immaculate. In most places, the facilities were a series of individual rooms, with full walls and full doors - and with a light switch in each room. Scoff all you want, but when you gotta got it's best to know when, where, and how.)

Decoration books can be found in arts and crafts stores.

(Hello Trish. Welcome to TFWG and PowerWorld Inc. I'm WMC, your Game Czar. Please meet raptus, our Linguistics Czar; quadraphonic, our TPS Czar; Anyacat, our Director of Energy and Tourism; and dmargalotti. I don't think we have a title for him. Please make sure you always bold your beginning and ending clues (as you already have) and please make sure to use one sentence only (as you already have). Quadraphonic will get back to you regarding TPS Report completion and submission times. It may have changed for newbies, I lose track at times. ;D )

Arts and crafts stores are terrible places to pick up hot chicks, but I've heard they are good for picking up gray dames and broads.

welcome Trish.
TPS Reports are due Fridays at 5. Try and get your first few weeks' assignments in on Thursdays in case they need to be edited, redacted, or adjusted. Newbies always have a rough adjustment period at the TFWG.
If you're late, then the following week's payroll check will be withheld until the situation is rectified.
It's nothing personal, that's just how the TFWG has to roll. It's in your New Employees' Orientations materials.

The carriage pushers (carriage retrieval specialists? ;) ) are the unsung heroes of the retail industry especially during inclement weather.

During inclement weather, I remain indoors where it is warm, dry, and free of crazy drivers.

(Travel Tips: In Europe, the Ronald McDonald play area is redesigned into a gym for kids, which includes stationary bicycles on which kids can race one another, climbing walls and basketball hoops. There are also some menu changes: pasta is on the menu at the McDonald's on the Piazza di Spagna in Rome, porridge is on breakfast menu in Britain, and in France, burgers are topped with beloved French cheeses rather than the lackluster cheddar we get here in the US.)

Welcome, Trish, I recommend you pay strict attention to all rules and regulations as unofficial board monitors such as WMC2006 become positively unglued should a bold be misplaced.

(Oh Anyacat, you are so damned sexy when you tease. ;) )

Drivers, putters, balls and tees are all part of a so-called sport called golf for which I have never seen the attraction.

Good call kenrayc!

During inclement weather the carriage pushers in my neck of the woods usually seem to call in sick or quit altogether.
Wow, I did violate A LOT of norms and conventions on that illegal post, didn't I?
It usually warns me when someone else posts ahead of me. I must have looked at the wrong page altogether there.
Please forgive my slovenliness and keep the line moving.
There's nothing to see here but contrition and repentance and a hope for forgiveness.
I won't even try to step in the middle of this one and work off "illegal post."
I am not worthy.
[weeps unremittingly]

RJ beat me to posting while I was disclipining quad so here is my new post, my disciplinary action on quad, and my original post before RJ stepped on my toes:

A grammatically correct sentence is easy to read, easy to follow, much appreciated, and it keeps me in a very good mood.

(Quad, have you been hanging around andrea too much?? Hmmmm?? Have you?? Do I need to give you the talk? Seems you forgot to turn the page, my friend, yes you did. During inclement weather was the clue over an hour previous to you dropping in. The clue to follow up was unglued. I'm in a quandary here, quad. I'm faced with the reality of having to discipline one of my directors. This is something I didn't ever want to have to deal with. This is unprecedented.

But I am the Game Czar and I can't go easy on you just because you are on the board. Newbies and others are watching. My reputation precedes me. I can't tread lightly here.

Therefore, I must <and it pains me greatly to do this, rest assured> charge you with a 9 hour TFWG Timeout. It's a first offense and I'm sure you are kicking yourself hard anyway. I must also charge you with 3 demerits and I will defer to Anyacat, dmargalotti, and raptus if they wish to assign additional demerits. And quad, please use this timeout to think about your actions. If anyone was planning on forwarding their TPS Reports to quad over the next 9 hours from this post, please send them to me.

Kenrayc, thanks for recognizing quad's error and following up with the correct clue.)

And now on with our game.)

Illegal post or illegal sentence structure will result in disciplinary action and, more importantly, a tonguelashing from your grammar school English teacher.
