Fantastic word game

"Her place doesn't even exist," my petite blonde intern, Kayla, told me when I accused her of sneaking off to Texas to see a certain cow, and I was willing to accept that, but since rosecitymedia has since reported that that place (a barn) burned down, I just don't know what or whom to believe.

Believe me when I tell you that while the ol' barn may've been scorched, the Petite Blonde Intern (n' you by proxy, compadre) will always have a special place here in the land o' rednecks.

Someone quick...cue the Kumbaya n' flick a Bic.

The land o' rednecks will never understand the pull and dream of PowerWorld and TFWG (as I prefer) because that's what keeps people coming back for lo these many years.

What do you mean it's only in my mind? Of course it exists. Doesn't it? I mean, why would I be here day after day for almost 20 years if it didn't exist? CT, tell me this is real life and not some kind of honky tonk dream or something. CT? Hello?

For lo these many years, we have seen many contributors come and go and most of those who are no longer participating are fondly remembered.

To our resident ramblin' redneck, I was not hot and bothered. Nor was I strummin' a harp looking for sympathy. Has no one in your neck of the woods heard of sarcasm? Maybe it's just a northern thing known only to us Yankees.

Those who are no longer participating are fondly remembered fer their contributions, but when this ol' hayseed finally gives in n' hangs up his 10-gallon Stetson hat fer good, there will be one huge sigh of relief.

...n' that ain't no cow pie.

I got it, Padre, just playin' my part in this whole Fantastic charade.

Place yer bets (at Rosie's Dance Hall & Saloon's Wagerin' Window, of course) that this, like the latest episode o' hill runnin', is assigned responsibility die-rectly to me n' my way of playing the game.

*takes the 10-gallon Stetson hat off*

Is my exaggerated redneck character really that off-putting to you other players? I want honesty, and not from you, WMC. You and I are just oil and water and we both know it.

My way of playing the game, whether as Game Czar or former Game Czar, has allowed me to last here for over 18 years which I think is well-respected by some players but not by other players.

I really hope dmargalotti was kidding when he said he was taking a hiatus.

rosecity, I actually agree with your assessment of our relationship. Now THAT'S wikkid skeery! Having said that, you need to remember that you shut the game down a few months ago when everyone left. That should answer your question right there.

Judge them not by their sensitivity but by how much and how long and why they could or would put up with the silly redneckery and insults.

The silly redneckery and insults are just a part of the character that I choose to play.

None of us actually know one another. Out of some level of respect, I minimized the "critter talk". I still take a few shots at you, WMC, because, well, it gives a couple of us a good laugh. I contribute to the game about my actual life, as I do live on a farm with a healthy amount of animals residing on it. It was extremely easy to come up with the character, because I live it every day. I do take it to the extremities, for the sake of a little juvenile humor. The professional wrestling comes from my now 40+ years of being entertained by that scripted mess. That's what I bring to the table. This game is my escape from an every day hum-drum of an actual existence. I find it entertaining, funny, thought-provoking, and I enjoy "makin' a lil' fun o' my feller country neighbors". I certainly don't talk the way I portray, but a ton of my listening audience and neighbors sure do.

I most certainly did not shut down the game, BTW. I pushed you out of that ridiculous "Game Czar" role, WMC, because certain others that once played here said it couldn't be done. My response was simply "hold my beer". That was all. You, at a point in time, were looked at as a bullying force inside this game. I put a stop to it. That's what I did. For right or for wrong, that's what I did. If everyone wants to quit playing because of me, that's fine, but that's on you all. I'm not going anywhere, because without me, this game is dead on arrival anyway. What happened when I only observed and didn't contribute? You, WMC, had to play from your own contribution 2 and 3 times in a row.

Whatever. I've got a mic to crack and a show to do. Until I return, a happy Independence Day to one and all. That's including you, too, WMC. Be safe and enjoy your day up there in the land of mayflowers.

Dmargalotti is taking a hiatus, killing it, skinning it, freezing it, and depositing it in Ed's Freezer of Doom.

Huh? What's that? You mean a hiatus isn't some sort of critter?

Doom contents include some demerits that Ed chose to decline at those points in time.

Happy Independence Day, everyone!
