Fantastic word game

Parades, picnics, and fireworks will be going on when Olivia Newton-John makes her appearance at band camp.

Band camp fireworks this year will be synchronized to the music of Olivia Newton-John and even though she is unable to attend our celebration in person, we will be having an ONJ look-a-like contest.

Available technologies will allow me to check in with all of you over the next two weeks as I once again travel the highways and byways of this fine nation.

Once again, quad leads the charge starting on Sunday for a 2 week period.

Not very nice is how road-weary businessmen can be, particularly if they haven't had enough Orangina and listened to enough Muzak on the CD player during the trip.

(WMC2006: I have the entire Sonic the Hedgehog CD in my laptop's hard drive, with the "secret menu" enabled [so it can run without the CD] if that counts..... ;o)

Happy 4th! I'm going to be detonating some of the GOOD fireworks tonight with some of my friends who live on the Umatilla reservation. Probably the only place in the entire state of Oregon where you can even find real explosives these days. Makes me kinda' glad I am a Washingtonian. *grin* Just be careful okay? Don't blow yourselves up tonight. There's already enough of that going on in the Middle East, we really don't need it here!!)

On the CD player during the trip, Darth's Hedgehog programming is unexpectedly interrupted by his old friends at TWFG who secretly recorded "Party on Darth!".

For an entire trip I did not pack nearly enough clothing, however the hotel I am currently staying at has laundry machines among other similar amenities and conveniences.

(B.T.W., I didn't actually bring the Sonic CD with me.....it's at home, I just loaded all the software from it into a directory in the laptop so I can run it off the hard drive, thus I don't have to pack [and risk losing/ruining] the CD as it's my only copy. Which, naturally, means I don't have the factory-spec Redbook soundtrack to accompany it. So I usually play my off-air MP2 Muzak recordings instead in Winamp as a background process, just like I do when using Boom. Besides, repetitive video game music gets really annoying really fast to me, regardless of whether it's Redbook audio or MIDI!! ;o))

Among other similar amenities and conveniences, Darth was able to use his hotel room kitchenette to put together some foodstuffs after calling Silkie for some recipe tips.

In a pensive mood was how I felt coming over here earlier this week (see comment below) but right now, being the fourth of july on an Indian reservation, let's consider that I am having a blast.

(Typically for me, coming from Portland to Pendleton along I-84 is about a four-hour drive. I made it in seven. Turns out a gravel truck about two miles ahead of me, in the east-bound lane [same direction I was going] turned over, literally bringing traffic to a halt until ODOT Comet could get its ass in gear and come clean it up. I even spread a beach blanket out on the highway, lay down and tried to improve my tan! Another guy about 1/2 mile down, in a camper, got out his barbeque and was grilling hamburgers. ;o)

Oh yeah, my "kitchenette" is just a microwave and a fridge situated in an "entertainment hutch" next to the TV. If anything gets me in a pensive mood, aside from the *deplorable* picture on KOPB, it'd have to be the sodding microwave!)

Band Camp Prank 101 is an elective subject given during the band camp summer session and it's always well attended because it's an elective, it's fun, and it's taught and moderated by the lovely Miss Silkie.

While I'm still here, I'm leaving shortly and Game Czar power has been transferred to Mr Quadraphonic for the next two weeks. While I am away, I'll be sure to check out TFWG's satellite and sister band camp locations.

We have become accustomed to my strict and organizational managerial style here at TFWG and now again, for the next two weeks, quadraphonic gets to stretch his managerial legs.
