Fantastic word game

Different time zones will be ringing in a new decade one at a time, which is under a debate on another off the air thread.

MarcB beat me to the post,so

Suck up the alcohol tonight to celebrate a new decade.

TBNs Praise the Lord and the original PTL club were two totally different things.

Suck it up, Marc.

I took the liberty of scrolling allllllll the way back to a year ago here at TFWG and this is what I found:

-We hit page 483 on Jan 1, 2009. The Quest To Page 1000 was hit on December 7th, 2009 which was 4 days after TFWG's 3rd anniversary.
-LVRJ was still part of the TFWG family before leaving and starting his little trivia game on Jan 11, 2009.
-Anyacat was still posting almost daily travel tips. I miss Anyacat's World Famous Travel Tips. Apparently, they got downsized.

Happy New Year everyone. 8)

Dammit, kenny snuck in so:

A new decade starts in about 40 minutes from now.

About 40 minutes from now Anya may or may not have a travel brainstorm, or a migraine, whichever comes first.

(It's summer in Australia, but you have to travel half-way around the world locked in an airplane for 100 miserable air hours. It seems hardly worth the trip.)

SEE this is why I don't do travel tips...

The Pacific time zone is usually warmer than the central or eastern time zone, unless you are in rainy Washington State, and then it's just damp.

Contributions have been plentiful this year and we thank each and every one of you for being here.

Perhaps I'll hark back again to page 483 and check out who has been here this year and include that in a post.

Us has included lots of people over the years but the same core people have led the way though thick and thin and ups and downs.

I've just been perusing the first 3-4 months of 2009 here at TFWG. Here are the names of contributors during that period:

-WMC2006 ;D
-Anyacat
-dmargalotti (also known as Divine Dave)
-Las Vegas Radio Junky (who disappeared once he started ITG on Jan 11th)
-andreajesus
-quadraphonic
-The Dude
-kenrayc
-Tim-in-Houston
-CT Trish (now an inactive account on R-I)
-MarcB
-kudzooter
-Basnya (who refers to himself in the third person)
-Stuart (who came, went, came back, and went again)
-Silkie (she arrived around February but by late March, we still thought she was a guy :D )
-raptus (before the suspension)

-and, finally, last but certainly not least, our good friend SKenJenningsSummers, who is still active on R-I according to his profile and who I hope drops by to say hello now that I've mentioned his name. If you want some funny reading, hark back to February and watch all the discourse between him and dmargalotti and also between he and I. There were alot of posts back then that included only dialogue but no actual sentence contributions which falsely contributed to TFWG totals but we're beyond that now and that's ok.

Over the weekend, I shall further analyze the archives from April throught the rest of the year and post any additions later.

Through all of that, it's still not advisable to end a sentence with a preposition even though that's all you had to work with.

I did my best to find work in the radio biz in 2009 but was not successful, however the new year brings new hope and promise although that promise may well be for more disappointment when it comes to finding gainful employment.

I don't always refer to myself in the 3rd person, sometimes it just comes out that way.

Happy New Year, all!

Son of Sam and the .44 caliber killer were the nicknames given to David Berkowitz who went on a murderous crime spree in New York City beginning in the summer of 1976.

Dag nab it...Cat, what the heck are you doing up? The first post of the day is my responsibility!

Plastics were highly touted in the movie, The Graduate.
