Fantastic word game

Now is the winter of our discontent
Made glorious summer by this sun of York;
And all the clouds that lour'd upon our house
In the deep bosom of the ocean buried.

Really lame and obvious spoiler deleted statements do not change the fact that Nothing From Nothing - or is that nothin' from nothin' - was a song by Billy Preston, and I sure am glad that I had something from which to start a sentence that made some sense.

Really lame and obvious spoiler deleted from raptusregalitur's post, but the spoiler will never be forgotten.

Drat.

A sentence that made some sense was uttered by Richard Marx in his epochal soft rock hit "It Don't Mean Nothin'."

BTW, Richard will be performing with Rick Astley and Spandau Ballet this summer on the TFWG Bandphitheater lawn, awaiting the callup to the bigger time.

"It Don't Mean Nothin'" was indeed a good title for an album but it shouldn't be confused with the title of John Cougar Mellencamp's second album which was "Nothing Matters and What If It Did?"

What Do You Care What Other People Think is one of those question songs that we can use on another board, but is not the same as "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing", but here at TFWG library we have all manner of reference sources to use to make other people think that you are really polished when orating or writing.

Make people think that you are really polished when orating or writing, and you can go far in politics, but then that guarantees, whether it's true or not, that someone somewhere will want to say that at some point in the past they had sex with you.

Sex with you ain't exactly on my list of priorities, especially seein' as how I'm a true blue, happy little camper - and besides that Sweetie Pie might get sorta kinda really bent outa shape, and even the chicken and dumplings I am making for supper would prolly not work as an appeasement measure.

An appeasement measure is likely called for, to clarify that the "you" in my previous post was generalized and hypothetical, and if things went too far between me and any of the internet's yous, I agree it would require more than chicken and dumplings.

More than chicken and dumplings are not necessary as appeasement for clarifying something that was already known and understood, but I am sure you will agree that it made for a fine sentence.

An appeasement measure was probably offered to the patrons of Illusions last night after Marc cleared the dance floor with that lame song selection.

Quad's got some fast fingers today...

More than chicken and dumplings can be found each day on the menu at Illusions.

Double-damn!

I am sure you will agree that it made for a fine sentence but I wish quad and Silkie would let someone else here get a word in edgewise.

Get a word in edgewise, and you will find that you are moving right along Page 10,000, although it seems we don't make much headway except during our breaks, lunch hours, eventide and weekends, except that some weekends I can only do a little bit if I am traveling.

A designated poster must have impeccable credentials, such as posting in such a way that does not get us all in trouble and our TFWG and band camp licenses revoked.

Our TFWG and band camp licenses revoked can happen if some poster touches on a controversial topic or bad language which could put TFWG to the take it outside board.
