Fantastic word game

The test of time is not something that a pre-OS/9 MAC could pass.

[size=8pt]It's still way too early to go on the OS/9 and OS/X MACs yet. I had to use an ancient 68K-class Power Mac at the hacker convention recently, and it took almost five minutes for it to boot up. It was running System Software 8.5, which probably explains it right there. It took another three and a half minutes just to get Google to come up in Netscrape. At that point I realised: I'm suddenly back in Junior High again!

Pass attempts that end in interceptions are not always the result of a poorly thrown ball by the quarterback because sometimes the inability of a receiver to actually catch the ball can cause the turnover.

Scrumptious complete breakfasts are something that I have been doing lately, rather than just orange juice and an English muffin.

Okay, we at the library and the lounge have been concerned about Anyacat, who has not visited for a time; in fact, ever since the utility company screwed around with getting her power turned back on for a week during a dangerously intense heatwave. Given the number of people of all ages who were made quite ill by this most unusual of summers and the various activities of Mother Nature during the whole ordeal, we wish Anyacat who is "too old for this nonsense" the very best. I shall now resume minding my own biz.

Orange juice and an English muffin sound pretty good and those two things might be just the ticket to win back the hearts of Anyacat and andreajesus.

Miss Silkie, I dunno why Anyacat disappeared and I haven't tried contacting her to find out. More than likely, some serious real life issues intervened and one of the first things to go was our silly little game. She also disappeared from Facebook and FarmVille a few weeks back. But now that you bring her up, I think I'll try contacting her if only to wish her well. I'll report back if I receive a response.

Our minds are filled with thoughts of a lovely September so far, but then September is always gorgeous, because we choose to remember always the nice aspects, especially when we look back over other Septembers and how special they were, after all.

They were, after all, part of our past, which we prefer to remember fondly for having survived it, rather than ruminating on it to the point of clouding our rose-colored historical glasses.

Our rose-colored historical glasses will look back fondly on our time here at TFWG at the wonderful things we accompllished and the wonderful people who accomplished them.

The wonderful things we accomplished and the wonderful people who accomplished them will someday be remembered with commemorative coins and plates from The Franklin Mint.

Commemorative coins and plates from The Franklin Mint occasionally pale in comparison to the many Norman Rockwells of our American band camps around the country.

Baseball, apple pie, and Chevrolet are but just three things that are seen across band camp locations every single day.

Lots of morning regrets are felt when we cannot answer some band campers the way we would like to answer.

"Aunt Silkie, please ask Mother not to pick me up this afternoon. I would like to stay after school to work on a few projects we just started on". <thoughtful glance from band camper> "In fact, I would like my father to pick me up on his way home from work, as that should provide enough time". WTF? ???

Ahhh, the joys of kindergarten.
