Fantastic word game

Our own little sandcastle display right here at band camp is situated right outside the main entrance to the library where all guests can ohh and ahh as they come and go all the year round.

All guests can ohh and ahh as they come and go all the year round but the ones who will be most impressed are the ones scheduled to appear at our first ever TFWG Old Timers Day.

TFWG old timers day would include music by Olivia Newton-John and 80s hits and maybe appearances by Anyacat and Andreajesus.

Anyacat and Andreajesus would certainly receive a warm welcome from the crowd if they were to attend TFWG's Old Timers Day but I'm not so sure we can say the same thing about some other former contributors.

Memory comes and goes for some old timers <*cough*quad*cough*> but I can remember alot of former contributors who have come and gone and whom I wish had never come around in the first place.

quad's advanced age subjects all of us to the basic rules of etiquette when it comes to respect, but since I have only been around since about Page 573, I too had to consult with the early pages to see all of the many posters, and had I known then what I know now, I would have made the suggestion to stuff a sock in it to the game czar, a long time ago.

Talking about my at-the-time current personal and professional excursions around the nation (or more specifically, the Northwest most of the time) is something I often do following my posts in the FWG.

[size=8pt]But not today. In fact, I don't know specifically where my next excursion will cause me to end up, but there's always a decent chance that it will be somewhere in northeast Oregon.

It never fails, that. The hereafter anonymous company I work for also "just happens" to have a satellite office in Pendleton. Even when I go there on va-kay, someone alswys seems to find out I am in town, and from there on I'm working again. Probably the next time I go there I'll change my name to Ignatz Jaegerfreaun, an Executive Chef for some really snitzy German restaurant in Seattle. But then, I'd probably be at a critical point in a heated Vingt et un match, and end up being called down to the office to make them lunch........

My posts in the FWG occasionally extol the wonders of Sweetie Pie, but usually only when I am so impressed by his intellect and business acumen that I am ready to pop.

The drought, the heat, the pollution from the good ol' boys who are allowed to pollute made for a danged miserable summer in some parts.

Some parts of my brain are wondering what it is Miss Silkie found while combing the annals of TFWG that caused such consternation towards the Game Czar.

I've been a good boy lately; but, back in the day, I was quite the bastard towards less-than-stellar contributors. 8)

Such consternation towards the Game Czar is understandable when he who demands perfection from everyone else forgets to bold his own beginning clue for the second time in a 24-hour period.

;)

For the second time in a 24-hour period the Game Czar has made a less than stellar post, but we shall cogitate about forgiving these transgressions and note that this weekend he spent a considerable amount of time in the band camp lounge.

The band camp lounge was so relaxing that I somehow forgot to bold my beginning clue which, in the old days, even from myself, would have resulted in 3 demerits and a 3 hour timeout.

That is now reserved for newbies who can't seem to get their heads in the game. ;D

3 demerits and a 3 hour timeout hardly seems like quite enough, but at least you did not default to The Dude's original rules as an excuse.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that spinach lasagne with salad and garlic bread will turn out tasty.

The Dude's original rules as an excuse for my unacceptable forgetfulness are no excuse whatsoever and I would never stoop to such low standards.
