Fantastic word game

Lunch today was okay, which would be a better disposition than most would have if I were to reply to the "beans" post.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it utterly satisfying to sit in front of the fireplace and enjoy a glass of Port?

Sit in front of the fireplace and enjoy a glass of port is something I can't do because I don't have a fireplace.

I do have a big fire pit in the backyard that I load up logs and rock out and I prefer beer to wine.

I don't have a fireplace would be an untrue statement, but if your fire pit makes you happy with a beer, then I quote the old commercial which announced you only go around once, ya gotta grab for all the gusto you can get, or something like that.

The Scorpions with Bon Jovi as the opening act sounds like a big-time concert, but the only one I have ever been to was a bar where we were entertained by the Dutch rockers Slëëz Bëëz.

At least my memory is that they were Dutch. The only English I think they knew was the lyrics. And their band's name had umlauts on the e's, so you know they were a metal band.

The silly 80s garb they wore reminded me of the way dmargalotti and quad dressed back in the day.

Which is why we adopted the PowerWorld Dress Code in the late 80s. ;D

Persuasion can be used all you want but the only way I wanna be like either of them is until after I've met Mrs. Quad and Mrs. dmargalotti.

I want their sides of the backstories first. I just wanna make sure they weren't hypnotized or bribed or thrown into the PowerWorld WayBack Machine. ;D

Mrs. Quad and Mrs. dmargalotti are the stars of the weekend party-a-thon...er...quilting bee, while the men folk are outa the way...er...out of town, taking care of business.

As well as we do our business, I'd like to see a few more people come in and help us do our business.

Free admission for the first 30 days.
