Fantastic word game

There was still plenty of time to edit that mistake before YOU-KNOW-WHO noticed because you just know he would have given you some flack for your error so I guess it's a good thing that he has a job that doesn't require being in front of a computer all day.

Being in front of a computer all day includes regularly checking to see where we are, in case various and sundry phone calls must be made to verify whereabouts and whether any progress has been made in the daily quest.

When I was a Kid growing up in the 70s Disco music was really popular, but I preferred rock music.

I preferred rock music for a while, but then I started finding people talking more soothing and informative, but the rock is always there, so I can go back to it, even though not much of the new rock interests me.

New rock interests me when it's well written and exceptionally performed especially since a lot of it has it's roots in the stuff you and I grew up with.

Shameless plug time...if you want to hear some great new rock music that's not too over the top, check out the Soft Rock station that I program for Slacker. Give it a listen and let me know what you think.

You and I grew up with rotary telephones, in fact, I still make calls on my Grampa's mid-1950s Western Electric 500 to this very day.

By playing her Xanadu cuts you can relax and dream of Olivia Newton-John as if she was in the room with me.

She remembers things that she'd rather not talk about and would prefer to forget they ever happened.

dm, I'm listening to your Slacker station now. Not a good start though because Chris Daughtry is the first thing on. Not much of a fan but I'll give it a shot and keep listening.

To forget they ever happened apparently gets a little easier the older you get and I say this because our own beloved Game Czar is celebrating a birthday today so please join us later today for cake and ice cream in the conference room.

Happy Birthday, WMC!

Cake and ice cream in the conference room will be available all day long and for all meetings today campuswide.

Aw thanks dm. And special thanks to Miss Silkie and her lovely library interns for decorating my office.
