Fantastic word game

A media firestorm has erupted over my absence from the office today but I can assure everyone that, ill or not, I will be back to the grind tomorrow.

Just be sure to wear rubber gloves and masks. :D

I will be back to the grind tomorrow, making a fresh percolator of coffee for the Thursday crew, after mixing strawberry margaritas for the geezer crowd's card game to watch basketball by.

Want some wisdom and wit from geezers who are called confused and senile by those who are either on the take or want their cut? All ya have to do is hang around awhile to make things comfy. One old gal tells her old friend that she can't believe he needed help getting up and down a few steps, while he explains that he just needs help with a few of the old steps to get up and down, but that he's still pretty good at getting in and out. That's when ya know it's time to mix drinks and leave for a short time. Kinda gives new meaning to the 80s generation.

The geezer crowd's card game to watch basketball by would be better served by lounging around listening to Olivia Newton-John records, which would give the old geezers something to think about.

They will hardly be able to contain themselves once Olivia Newton-John appears as the surprise musical guest on Charlie Sheen's "Torpedo of Truth" tour.

CBS affiliates used to have, and might still have, local band camp weather watchers, who called up information about the weather in their little sections of band camp.

Sections of band camp today have been painted green and decorated with shamrocks as the band campers practice for their performance this afternoon of famous Irish drinking songs.

Inks and leads have been used in excess during the nearly week long prep job for a few hour band camp remote visit, while the rest of us were donning the green tams and sweaters, drinking green beer and watching movies through our funny, green 3-D glasses.

What about those who celebrate the King of Orange?

Our funny, green 3-D glasses are more there for novelty than for utility, but even so, when you've donned them, you can't beat the chicks off with a stick, but then again, who'd want to?

I guess actually all of us who are married would want to. Unless we're Charlie Sheen.

Want to rock out to To the greatest hits of all time before I go to bed.

Playing some metal and some alternative, including Rush, Def Leppard, Scorpions, and the new one by OneRepublic.
