Fantastic word game

Good new (or bad), I have returned to Chapel Hill, NC from my summer job in Wilson, NC (about 70 miles away). I like the few comments about the doughnuts. The Krispy Kreme Factory is located in Winston-Salem, NC about 60 miles from here, and to the best of my knowledge, there are no Krispy Kremes around here. However there were many in Wilson . Well it's great to be back and I hope everyone had a great summer ;D

Bank Of America and NationsBank, were the banks which merged with NCNB, North Carolina National Bank.

North Carolina National Bank was based in Charlotte.

(Stuart, it's good to have you back. You'll be happy to know that the Lovely Anyacat has rejoined the game and we have a new participant named andrea who has done a pretty good job although she had a rough start. The Game Czar had to have her way with her early on. ;D )

Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill make up the "Research Triangle" in the state of North Carolina which is a southeastern state that also includes cities such as Fayetteville, Wilmington, and Greensboro.

Very steep learning curves must be negotiated before children can compose intelligent sentences, but some of them never get past the small bumps and hills in their path.

[Like Hill #17.] ::)

Follow my lead as everyone should by hijacking TheDude's answers at all times especially since he was supposed to lead with Stuart's clue of Chapel Hill, not Hill, and a slap on the wrist for not noticing to Stuart who has been away but still has no excuse.

(In case Dude is watching, the clue is NO EXCUSE.)

No excuse can be given for not knowing the rules by this point in the Game, but "callous disregard" as well as "blissful ignorance" seem to be at the root of The Dude's problems.

Peace St., right off Capital Blvd., Stuart, can't miss it! ;)

(Quad, since you highlighted your entire entry (mistakenly, I'm sure), I'll go with the following...)

The Dude's problems are too many to count but you'd think he would make some attempt at imagination especially since he is this game's author.

(I'm trying to be nicey-nicey so we don't end up getting thrown into the Take It Outside board. ;) :D )

[Dern, sorry, I did highlight that whole thing, didn't I? My bad. WMC ya managed to pick out exactly what I was shooting for, though. ;) ]

Author and philosopher C.S. Lewis was born near Belfast in 1898, and his friends usually called him "Dr. Lewis" or "Jack," never "C.S."

C.S. is something I would not like to be called as those initials together can stand for something else entirely much like the letters M and F and even S and H.
