Fantastic word game

WMC and Quad, premiering this fall on NBC, focuses on the neverending struggles of two journalism roommates constantly competing for the big scoop.

(Must see TV. Let's all be there. :D )

The top floor, when hotels and apartment managers are trying to make more money, is most often called the penthouse.

[ I guess Stuart is at Krispy Kreme or something? We better check by there on the way out. :D ]

EDIT:added
[Awww bloody heck, I must have hit the wrong page number.]

The Big Scoop is the name of the place where our town's investigative journalists gather to talk shop and eat ice cream.

Enjoyed by one and all, this game has gone on for 333 pages, which has to be some kind of an internets record, even allowing for computer-generated spam posts often encountered at other sites.

[[[Ugh]]] was an alternative title of an episode of [[[Spongebob Squarepants]]].

SpongeBob SquarePants is a big hit with the kids, but I just do not get it, and always feel like I'm watching "Coach".

[and not just because Dauber's voice is on there: Mr. Krabbs reminds me of Jerry van Dyke, Squidward reminds me of the administrator that was always bugging Craig T. Nelson, and Sandy reminds me of Shelley Fabares with Pam Stone's accent, but I'm sure I'm pretty much alone on those things :sigh: ;) ]

Coach Mike of the NY Knicks is gonna need a lot of prayer that his team makes it into the playoffs this upcoming season.

Andrea
(GO KNICKS!) :)

McCoy was the last name of WCBS-FM New York's program director from 1982 to 2004.

Andrea

(ps: WELCOME BACK, STUART!! ALWAYS look forward to your posts!! :):))

(Andrea, Stuart's clue was 'Jack McCoy', not 'McCoy' so I must hijack your response and return to the 'Jack McCoy' clue. Andrea, you are in timeout for 1 hour and 40 minutes.)

Jack McCoy has endured as a long running character despite all the cast changes on Law and Order including the gorgeous Angie Harmon.

Angie Harmon, I recently found out, is married to NFL footballer Jason Sehorn [he might have retired], but for a while there, I thought she was married to former college football player Mark Harmon.

[because of their last names, and the football player thing, and because I don't keep up with entertainment news like I should I guess]

Mark Harmon was part of the cast of the early years of St Elsewhere where his character contracted the AIDS virus.

(Quad, Jason Sehorn actually proposed to Angie during taping of Jay Leno's Tonight Show.)

The AIDS virus was also contracted by the character on "ER" played by Gloria Reuben.

[See, I didn't know that about Sehorn/A. Harmon on Leno. The Fantastic Word Game is entertaining as well as informative!]

Work-related injuries had never been a part of my life until I tripped over the cord of an electric pencil sharpener ( ??? ::)) and bruised both my knees. :'(

[Worse than the pain, though, was HR's folder o' forms that I had to fill out. :-[ :-[ ]
