Fantastic word game

People, I'm guessing, is the last clue we're working off of, because my computer can't tell much difference between black and dark purple on that font, Stuart Greenberg! :D

[Try that [b ]whatever you want to bolden[ /b] thing but take out the two spaces in the parentheses, man! :D]

Stuart Greenberg is causing issues for some of us as he has resorted to using colors other than black to highlight his clues and so in an effort to get us all on the same page, Stuart, I would ask you to please either use BLACK highlighting for your clue or to do as some others do and that would be to put your full clue in CAPITAL LETTERS and, for that, I and everyone else appreciate that.

(Thanks for the vacation wish Stuart. You behave yourself. I've got Quad keeping you on a short leash. ;D )

I and everyone else appreciate that the world is full of diversity, but when it comes to The Fantastic Word Game, there needs to be at least one trait we all hold in common: that is, the burning desire to be part of the well-oiled machine that is the Greendale High Ski Team....errrr I mean The Fantastic Word Game...and part of that machine is well-oiled by the frequent use of easily decipherable clues like bold letters or, at least, ALL CAPS for the next racer in the heats.

The next racer in the heats for the Greendale High Ski Team would have slalomed down the mountain but the race officials must have previously worked on the Fantastic Word Game because they forgot to properly mark the turns and jumps on the slope.

The turns and jumps on the slope were skillfully maneuvered by the erstwhile Lane Myer, but the hardest obstacle for him to overcome was the timekeeper/coach Roy Stallin, who wanted Lane to not be on the team so Roy could overtake Lane's girlfriend Beth.

Madder than hell, Mrs. Myers would berate the boys vociferously when she had to go to school to talk to the principal or pick one of them up after a long weekend and a longer Tuesday of "cooling off time" spent sitting out front after the free clinic closed.

Sitting out front after the free clinic closed,i was wondering if i wanted to go in the hot tub @ 105º or in the pool @ 70º... (Ill keep ya guessin' which i went in ;D)

The Dude said:
(Ill keep ya guessin' which i went in ;D)

(Yeah, and you're also gonna keep us guessing as usual on what your clue is supposed to be. Man, I REALLY need this vacation.)

70 degrees is the minimum temp I hope to find this week at the beach.

( I dunno how to make the degree sign, sorry. :-\ )

Eroding value of TFWG is evident, and slack participation efforts have apparently reached the 70 degree boiling point, especially when "Caint touch dis!" [breaks into a Hammer dance] doesn't even try to move the right fingers to make his last clue evident for those who can't read his mind. :(

[Maybe we all need a vacation? Somewhere tropical with proper punctuation and people who try would be nice. Because even in the tropicals, you have to try to have a good time. If you're a lump here, then go there and do nothing, the only difference would be your being a lump in a hotter place farther away than usual, but you're still a lump.]   :'( :'( :'(

Too strong a word is a concept foreign to me since my vocabulary is comprised entirely of words which can bench press neither more nor less than 250 pounds i.e. they are all of equal strength.

[Geez! What is it with you people and the weekends? Am I going to have to take valuable time away from my porn-surfing just to come in here and restore order? (I could also add "and elevate the discourse," but that would be rude.)]

Equal strength is shared by both Quadraphonic and I as we attempt to keep a civil social discourse on an even keel throughout the weekends despite the fact that some participants can't adhere to the one and only real rule that continues to this day.

(Now Raptus, just because it's the weekend, that doesn't mean the FWG shuts down at 5pm on Friday. Quad and I can do only so much. And I will be away from this afternoon thru Thursday afternoon so you and Anyacat need to step it up a notch please. We thank you for your support. ;) :D )

To this day, I will brook no dissent when it comes to my belief that Hearts of Palm is the most useless item in the supermarket.

[WMC: I suppose I could make the occasional weekend appearance just to give you and the quadster a break. I'll try to squeeze you in between bettiesbigbazooms.com and brandiesbodaciousbooties.com.]
