Fantastic word game

Huge ratings are expected for the premiere of TFWG's new entertainment reality show, PowerStories from Radio-Info.

Certain sections at this point are undetermined but may very well include readings from the hugely popular "Ask Radio-Info" board with guest reader, Mr Radio-Info, Managing Board Editor.

::) 8) ;D

Much has been made about The Dude's unwillingness or inability to conform to the one rule that has withstood the test of time and that would be highlighting, one way or another, the clue with which the next poster would lead and so I believe that, from this point on, we should just ignore The Dude and his contributions, such as they are.

Such as they are, The Dude's postings may simply be the product of an unacclomated user.

(Dude, to highlight the beginning and ending clues in your sentence, left click and drag over the words you want to make bold. Then release and your screen will show the highlighted words. Next click the "B" button. You will then see the words you highlighted surrounded by "." Click the "preview" button, next to "post" and the result of your work will appear above your posting. If it looks good, click on "Post." VOILA!)

Many times I have gone back to the beginning of this game to relive old times and I did that moments ago and noticed that The Dude didn't bother bolding his clues even two years ago when this game first started and, in fact, didn't bother to noticeably highlight his clues in any way leaving the rest of us to use the then-rule of using one's final word as the new clue.

(So, even though bolding the new clue is a rule that was adopted along the way, I guess that means The Dude is just obnoxious about not listening. Having said that, the Fantastic Word Game is very close to celebrating it's 2nd anniversary...Dec 3, 2006..and I believe that Radio-Info should acknowledge that fact in the headlines when the time comes and also in Tom Taylor's Newletters for that week. Ok Tom?? Ok Mods and Editors ;) )

TFWG protocol instructs everyone to get their TPS reports into quadraphonic by Friday afternoon and I am curious as to whom did not get that done this week.

This week, we are running about 85% on TPS reporting, with one dude who shall remain nameless responsible for all 15% of the shortage.

He keeps wondering where his paycheck is, and we keep telling him "There was a glitch, you are it, turn in your TPS Reports" and he seems to accept that explanation more than be motivated for excellence, because nothing ever changes.

15% of the shortage is not something of which to be proud.

(Ummm quad....I had to pick and choose there. You highlighted everything. You must have been covering all bases. :D )

To be proud of my last post I cannot in good conscience.

I think I meant to [boobydoo] all 15% of the shortage [/boobydoo] but that was purty accurate, WMC. Like Theo Huxtable's friends would say "My bad." :D

I cannot in good conscience subject you to a TFWG Timeout since this is one of very few mistakes on your part and you are one of the fine disciplinarians here but, in the interest of everyone else, I must insist that you take a walk around the block to clear your head.

Take a walk around the block to clear your head, Quadrophonic, that'll make you feel better ;)

(GO TAMPA BAY!!!)

Better and better gets the story a the gas pump, but somehow I feel I am being set up for a shock.

Shock came to me as I walked around the block, my head gradually clearing, and I noticed that diesel prices are still jacked up.

And we all end up paying for those. And then it also occurred to me that it's only a week until the elections, so gas prices are bound to be back up soon. :'( :'(
