Wierd Al Yankovic has been consistently turned down by the Artist Formerly Known as Prince when he has requested permission to parody his songs.
His songs are a parody in themselves, so I don't see what Prince is trying to protect.
What Prince is trying to protect is the possibility that Wierd Al would parody one of his songs and in the process rant on all of his stange idiocincricies.
