Fantastic word game

Everywhere you look these days you see signs that economy is in the crapper, and a Happy Thanksgiving to all.
 
Early predictions paint a gloomy picture for the holiday shopping season although discount retailers such as Walmart are expected to cash in big time.

Cash in big time is the goal of everyone who plays the Fantastic PowerWorld Lottery.

And with that, Raptus climbs into the RaptusMobile for his annual immersion in the Flannery O'Connor novelette that is Thanksgiving with my extended family. I'll be travelling to where the internets are still dial-up and squirrel-powered, so you'll all have to make do without my nitpicking for approximately 5 days. Please refrain from celebrating until I'm actually out the door. All PowerWorld Linguistics Guild regulations are officially in abeyance until my return. This does not affect TPS Reports. Andrea will be taking names until my return (thanks sweetie) because I believe she probably has the best penmanship.

Adorable little elves will be all the rage for children to buy this winter, but as they have done before with so many fad pets, in the end, they will only abuse and misuse them.
 
Abuse and misuse them as much as I like, and those damn relatives show up at the door come next holiday.
 
All time is a long time and that is not the strangest video ever as I am sure there is a stranger one out there, someplace.

(Miserable people working at miserable jobs dream of a holiday when they don't have to show up for work)
 
Someplace, in an undisclosed location, is where all the surviving turkeys will hang out until the new year.



(Raptus, while you are travelling the highways and byways in the raptusmobile, see if you can find Stuart out there somewhere. I miss him. I hope he's ok. :'( )

Until the new year, I will continue to feel comfortable dating my checks "2008," but I expect it will take a few weeks to get used to writing 2009.
