Fantastic word game

Oz never did give nothing to the tin man.

The scratch-off is being held to determine a winner for the new position, I thought?
Well for that and chips and giggles.
We still have to find a title for the position though.
The demerits were already your chastisement, Anyacat..... :D

man, this thing is turning into an all-out battle - may the best woman win... ;)

Trying hard not to wake potential Czarinas Anyacat and Andreajesus, Quadraphonic and Ssummers snuck out the window to go to the Women's Mudwrestling Championships being held downtown.

Held downtown at Precinct 181, organizers of the Women's Mudwrestling Championships were unable to post bail following their arrest on charges they failed to secure the necessary event permits.

Permits, specifically Third Class Radio Telephone Operator Permit with Broadcast Endorsement, were once a basic requirement to be hired as a radio announcer.

I suspect I'm showing my age with this post, having held a blue and salmon colored version of a 3rd Ticket. But as Popeye has been known to say, "Iyam what Iyam." Or, in today speak, "It is what it is."

Today's economy is of little concern to Bernie Madoff, because he'll do his 18 months in a country club prison and then spend the rest of his life enjoying all the billions he's hidden in overseas accounts.

This, and the latest reports about banks still handing out obscene cash bonuses to their "top performers" (HA!), is another great BOHICA moment for the middle class.

The access codes needed these days are legion, which makes me miss the old fashion padlock and key.

(TFWG Travel Tip 12: The Lock Museum of American is located in Plymouth, CT, and is open from May through October. Before he lost his head, Louis XVI of France, was quite a talented locksmith. Louisville, KY, is named for him, as is a rather good restaurant in New Orleans' French Quarter.)

the Dilbert comic strip is one of those things that's SO WEIRD that EVERYONE understands it... ;)

Andrea
(I like "Key Largo" as well - the song that is; in NYC back in the 90's, i remember one radio station playing it on one of their overnight shows... ;))

It seems to me that Anyacat is doing her best to win the prized Mistress of Energy and Tourism title and is certainly providing quite a number of tourism ideas but I'd like to see what plans she has for energy marketing as well.

(And I must say the pre-voting comments I'm receiving through PowerWorld Game Czar InternetVision2020 heavily favor Anyacat as andrea has not exactly gone out of her way to court any votes.)

Energy marketing as well as developing green and solar power are essential to this country's energy demands.

This country's energy demands have increased over the years. :(

(hey, WMC, I shouldn't have to "go out of my way" to court ANYBODY's votes for PowerWorld Czarina - my reputation and years of experience in the world should BOTH speak for themselves... 8))

Years from now, I will be able to tell my grandkids that the first PowerWorld czarina was the one who sent me a special Christmas present and caused me to exclaim: "Hey, she went to Jared's!" :D

Jareds (without the possessive apostrophe please) is the middle class version of Tiffany and Co., immortalized as a nifty breakfast place.

(TFWG Travel Tip 13: The Roadhouse, Belchertown, MA, is said to be one of the greatest breakfast places in the US. It's one of those traditional diners that are rarely found these days that offers excellent coffee and home made corned beef hash. I love corned beef hash. By the way, I have quite enough as travel consultant to take on any additional duties.)
