I can take it or leave it, either way. It's all in good fun. No reason to be offended here.
I am at one time both forlorn and wistful about the current situation, and sitting in front of a thousand mason jars full of rocket fuel [cost made me purchase it in small amounts, and I never got around to looking to see if it is safe to pour it into a 55-gallon drum without it exploding, so I just left it in the mason jars, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do]. In one hand, I hold an oily rag and an Aim'nFlame lighter, in the other, a coupon book good for a thousand hugs to be distributed to all posters. It can go either way. The lighter and the coupon book are both eagerly anticipating my reply.
Another reason to like the bolding: it just looks better post-in and post-out than no bolding. In addition to that, required bolding does increase the "Superspecial Clique Factor" of the thread. A little exclusivity never hurt anyone.
Under the old rules [no bolding, only going by the last single, lonely word of a sentence], it was like watching paint dry in the background of an old black and white program you've seen so much you've memorized the lines.
The new rules gave life to this thread. Compared to the old rules, the new rules are like having OLED, Technicolor, Dolby 10.2 sound, with the quintessential humor of the ages all wrapped up in one tight package held together by the two hottest chicks in each of our own estimations.
Do whatever yall want, my hands are getting crampy.
