Fantastic word game

During TFWG activities, participants are bound by contract to never divulge what they see and what they do.

What they see and what they do are two TOTALLY different things... :-*

Things like that can't get too far out into the public sphere, else this place will be crawling with interlopers, hangers-on, grifters, drifters, and rounders, all wanting a piece of the action.

Wanting a piece of the action is just one of those things that makes TFWG such a fun place to be at times... :-*

At times I wonder if I should be putting my creative talents and energies to a more worthy cause than some internet thread but then I realize that this isn't just any old internet thread, this is the world changing, earth shattering, history making TFWG.

All humanity is lifted whenever Quadrophonic posts on this Board... :-*

This Board sure helps me pass the time.

(So anyway, with its space effort in the toilet, and those in power wondering why our Nazi scientist wasn't as good as their Nazi scientist, what the United States needed was a miracle--or the crash landing of an alien space craft, filled with aliens...)

Hall and Oates fame has several hits in the 80s including "Maneater","Private Eyes", and Kiss on my list.

Kiss On My List helped build Hall and Oates fame, and those who matter still remember that infectious blue-eyed soul, Philadelphia sound.

too lazy to change mine a lot since kenrayc swooped in on me from the sickbed. ;D

That infectious blue-eyed soul, Philadelphia sound gives me pretty much no chance of creating a full and complete sentence that makes any sense at all.

(Ya know, kenrayc, had you been answering trivia questions on ITG rather than in the hospital, ITG might still be around and not in bankruptcy like Circuit City. Seems it's your fault that LVRJ and his staff of no one hit bottom. I hope you're happy. ;D )

Any sense at all is the only requirement for knowing what blue-eyed soul was!

Can't blame kenracy for the ITG downfall. That place was a house o' cards. He's no Madoff or Lay.

What blue-eyed soul was responsible for singing New York, New York?

(Well, quad, I dunno bout a house o' cards but he did make several errors in a short amount of time. Someone had to bring it out in the open and I guess it had to be me. ;D Oddly enough, he must have taken offense to that because he really hasn't come back. I guess he just wasn't ready for the bigtime. ::) ;) )

Just like me, the Cookie Monster likes Nestles Toll House cookies the best.

Actually, I'm of the opinion that it wasn't so much the mistakes LVRJ might have made as the nitpicking seriousness a select few directed at him. I thought he did a great job. In many cases, trivia isn't an exact science when technology is held hostage to human updates. His source might've differed from yours and he has to go by his source to maintain order. Kind of hard to do with people tossing bombs across the bow and not allowing him to proceed with the game when you could've just as easily allowed it to move on. You're imposing some of your Fantastic Word Game subtleties on another's game.

"Cookies the best" is a rude way to end a sentence when you know full well your fellow TFWG posters like me will have a difficult time constructing a coherent sentence based on your clue.
