Fantastic word game

Something they learned at band camp is to live in the moment and don't go through life researching every tidbit of information ya find on the internets, and that's kind of affected me by reading TPS Reports for so long.

So solly WMC. My conversational style was clearly out of line. Thank yew fa lettin me duly flog mice elf agin. :(

Prodigy, in 1990, was the second largest online service provider.

Oh, it's ok quad. I know you're a busy guy. If you need a break from TPS reports, let me know. dmargalotti will be happy to take over for a week or three if need be.

Yes, well...ummmm...(nervously clears throat), I may have made a slight exaggeration or two on my resume and TFWG Power World application. I've seen TPS Reports...but I've never actually complied one all by myself before. Sorry.

Service provider rates and fees will be a thing of the past for future generations who will have unlimited access to free internet connectivity all around the world.

The world spins continuously and so do, apparently, dmargalotti's excuses.

Well well well! The PowerWorld Board of Governors will be meeting with the PowerWorld Board of Directors in due fashion to discuss this turn of events, Mr dmargalotti. Quad, while your being busy doing everything else, please collect all of dm's previous TPS reports and other paperwork. Someone will come by the office to collect it shortly. It will be under further review during the week.

Dmargalotti's excuses are no match for me... :)

For me to accept all responsibility and immediately resign from my post would be the right thing to do however might I remind you distinguished and illustrious members of the TFWG community that while I did submit an application for employment, I was never given a real position and as such my participation has been thus far strictly voluntary.

Voluntary participation is the best kind.

(Travel Tips: Spring vacations are many splendored things. The romantic couple might like a quick get-away to Northern California, and I recommend Bodega Bay (where they shot The Birds). You will find a number of lovely spas and b and b's just short ride from San Francisco. A few years ago, we have a lovely time in Clearwater Beach, CA, which is about two hours drive from Orlando and even closer to Busch Garden Africa. But Clearwater has lovely beaches and is near some nice museums. Mostly, it's affordable. And there was terrific Greek restaurant we came upon walking all the way to the end of a pier in, I think, Clearwater (or maybe Tarpon Springs), and I wish I could remember the name.)

Kind of hard to get paid if you're not turning in your TPS Reports, but that does not mean that there isn't a TFWG PowerFile on you back at Headquarters, as well as circulating on the internet among those in power.

I second the Clearwater Beach recommendation.

You people are too damned quick for me today:

New: Any of us here would be amazed that someone else would have more power than us.

Old-New post and clue:

Establish a national band camp and put dmargalotti in charge and he might be able to redeem himself.

Original clue and comments before dm and Ss beat me to it:

Those in power will be sifting through dmargalotti's paperwork over the next 48 hours while keeping in mind his assertion of not having a real position is correct because we never did give him a title of any sort.

However, that should not be an excuse as you are a part of the Board of Directors and should be ready at any time to temporarily or permanently take over the duties of any of us at any given time.

Anyacat, Clearwater Beach (which I have been to several times) and Tarpon Springs (which I have been through and which is, I believe, the sponge capital of the world, which you did not mention) are both in Florida, not California. If you need a break from travel tipping, perhaps dmargalotti can take over for a week or three if need be.

To get to the other side, one needs to go over the river, through the woods, across the field, and under the bridge.

Yes I know that Clearwater is in Florida, and so is Busch Gardens and so is Orlando. Seems as if no one else needed any extra geographical information. But yes, I should have mentioned that Tarpon Springs is the Sponge Capital of the world and I think the home of the best American-Greek restaurant and the very end of the pier.

All over me is where my cat is when it's time for him to eat.

(Travel Tip: Orlando is in Florida, as is Clearwater, St. Pete and Tarpon Springs--meanwhile, right outside San Francisco is a place called Northern California. Is there something wrong with me because I don't think Some Like it Hot is a great movie?)
