Fantastic word game

A pyrrhic victory or not, I dmargalotti promise to faithfully uphold the office of Band Camp Executive Director and I thank the powers that be for placing their trust in me.

Wrong as he knows he was, our new BCED has a good deal of work ahead of him what with marketing the 2009 edition of PowerWorld Summer Band Camp.

The 2009 edition of PowerWorld Summer Band Camp will feature a handy campers guide with helpful tips such as: don't wear underwear featuring cartoon characters or super heroes unless you want to be laughed at and mocked.

Laughed at and mocked was what I thought the Board of Governors would do to dm but, as it turned out, he came out of this thing fairly cleanly.

Anyacat, I just found out my parents have scheduled yet another cruise for later in the year, this one an Alaskan cruise. What ya got on Alaska? All I know is that The Love Boat went there several times back in the 80s. :D

Fairly cleanly, is one of those things Roland Burris hopes to look like as he twists and turns and tries to explain his sins of omission.

(Travel Tip Alaska: If they offer a salmon fishing trip in Ketchikan, do it. The cruise line cleans and dresses the fish for you, which you then bring home and bbq to perfection and the delight of your friends and neighbors. I didn't do this--outdoors, too messy for me--but a friend did and the resulting salmon was absolutely delish. Most ships stop near Juneau, with the obligatory and touristy stop for gold panning, and in Sitka, which is an interesting combination of Native American and Russian influences. But wherever I go, I try to eat the native food and root out interesting out-of-the-way places. I swear by the Arthur Frommer guide books and recommend Frommer's Alaska Cruises and Ports of Call. Also, I read as much about the destination as I can before I get there so I have a fairly good idea about what will interest me.)

Former PowerWorld Summer Band Camp attendee, Geoffrey Stanford could play the cymbals like none other which is why he has been honored with a plaque on the PowerWorld Summer Band Camp Wall of Fame.

Aspire to things greater than those that you covet, and you may actually get that which you covet...including the Official PowerWorld Summer Band Camp Wall of Fame certificate of membership.

The Official PowerWorld Summer Band Camp Wall of Fame certificate of membership has been awarded to only a select few band camp members over the years who have demonstrated unparralled proficiency in the major compents of band camp compeition which include but are not limited to: musicianship, cooridnation, rhythm, leadership skills, and the ability to not look like a complete geek while wearing a tall furry hat.

Appreciated and loved will be how dmargalotti feels from his year round bandcampers once they see what he has in store for them this year.

In store for them this year at band camp are adventures and experiences far beyond their dreams and imaginations.

(By the way even though it's only February, please note that a 25% non-refundable deposit is due by 2/28/09 for all who are interested in attending the Official PowerWorld Summer Band Camp 2009 Summer Session. Band camp apparently needs either a SpellCheckR or more thorough enforcement of its alcohol policies, if it's true that dreams and imaginations rum wild. ::)

Wild as it may seem, typos happen, even when dreams and imagination run wild at band camp, if not amok.

In the girls shower, we were all giggling ourselves dry over our elderly counselor's stirring reading of a knock-off of an old-days Christmas tale, updated to "Amok and the Night Visitors."
