All are assimilated, eventually, into life at band camp.
Band camp instructors are needed for this years summer session so if you've got some musical skills can can pass a thorough background check, you might be right for the position.
Position is a stand Silkie takes while pretending to hang head in shame in order to keep the peace, but refusing to assume the position, smiling pleasantly, wondering the whole time if it is possible to outdo the I Have A Dream speech with a longer, grammatically correct runon sentence, recognizing that that speech was the longest in history, though speaking softly and politely to say, "So sorry for the felonious infraction; nevertheless, you'll never take me alive".
You'll never take me alive if you're trying to get me to leave band camp before my two weeks are up!
Curses...quad beat me to the punch. I was going to post this:
You'll never take me alive shouted Silkie to the collected members of TFWG's Executive Board who had gathered earlier in the evening around the top secret PowerWorld Executive Board Band Camp camp fire to sing songs, toast marshmallows, and share in the general fun and frivolity of another semi-annual meeting when all of a sudden, thinks went horribly wrong as Silkie let forth with a shockingly inappropriate sentence that not only violated every rule ever set forth in TFWG's Official Handbook, it clearly went against the accepted norms of mainstream society.
Now instead, I must post this:
Before my two weeks are up, I hope to see Silkie make such a ridiculous post on TFWG that WMC is forced to use his secret agent powers to track him down and lock him away in an undisclosed location until he is properly assimilated into the PowerWorld way of life.

My fiddle faddle is a treat I rarely share even at band camp.
Great fun is always had at band camp, even though I think the proper conjugation of "to have" in this case should be 'hadden.'

The PowerWorld way of life is apparently getting to some people lately as I've noticed broken rules, lack of attention, lack of reliability, and overall carelessness.
Overall carelessness seems to be in abundance around here lately and while I agree Silkie's failure to follow my clue was the most glaring error, Quad, Cat, and Andrea also bear some culpability.
(You know kids, at band camp we talk about this sort of thing all the time. Quad, Cat, and Andrea were all lead astray because they trusted that Silkie knew what he was doing. When my kids are on the field performing at band camp, they are counting on the person in front of them to make the right move. If that person goes left when they are supposed to go right, and everyone else follows, you generally end up with something resembling a multi-car pile up on the freeway with limbs, bodies, and band instruments strewn everywhere. So for the sake of your fellow campers....errr, ah posters, let's try to get it right kids. The person behind you is counting on you. Thank you.)

A sliding scale can happen when a tuba player (not Quad in this case) slips on another tuba players melted ice cream during band camp drills.

On second thought, it appears to be more a situation whereby someone urged someone else to abuse another member, who did so, but that is a reflection on who you are, not upon who I am. So, any posts in support of Chris Brown from you two? Or, based upon egging by one and compliance by another, neither of whom even created the rules, is that ridiculous enough for you, and you figure your abuse of others will somehow benefit you by giving you that PowerWorld way of life you seek so? Did it occur to you that maybe others skipped the abusive posts because they did not wish to participate in what seems to be obvious cyberbullying? Guess not. Pretty pathetic on the part of both of you girls, really.

Silkie, my posts were jabs at WMC because of his predicable outbursts and threats of discipline against those who fail to follow the rules. His tirades and a little teasing between us regulars who've been here a long time is all part of the game. I make no excuses...I offer no apologies.
