Fantastic word game

Away from it all in a wooded clearing at band camp was where I discovered the band camp swimming hole.

Caligula was the insane Roman emperor whose face is featured on the dart board in the band camp tavern.

The band camp tavern as you might imagine is alcohol-free since virtually all of our patrons are under the legal drinking age.

And Quad will be glad to know that the jukebox plays nothing but Olivia Newton-John!

Last night's big rain storm was a chilly one that inspired the romantic among us at band camp to light the fireplace, snuggle on the window seat and dream together.

My band camp coworker Silkie beat me to the punch...rats! I was going to post:

Last nights big rain storm saw many band campers sporting rubbers.

Instead the game will continue with this:

Light the fireplace, snuggle on the window seat and dream together because romance is in the air and Olivia Newton-John is on the radio.

On the radio in my town one of my favorite stations Jack-fm switched today to a news-talk format.

A news-talk format is very useful to members of band camp who want to know the weather in neighboring band camps

TIME OUT FOR A RANT: I haven't been able to post for three hours, nor could I re-register, or log out so I could log in as suggestion and no one bothered to answer my e-mail.

By the way:

The weather in neighboring band camps is not as sunny as the weather in our camp.

(Travel Poll: I have a plaid seersucker shirt that just happens to match a pair of plaid canvas shoes. Should I pack the shoes even though they really only match one shirt--I mean, I could wear them with other shirts, but you get the drift. So far, I have packed the pink/white/brown leather walking shoes, the gold sandals, the white and blue yummy Ed Hardy's, and the turquoise tennis shoes. I will be gone Saturday evening through Wednesday morning. Do I have enough shoes?)

I thought I had a ghost in my computer. I did not get a response to my query either, but I figured I was back on, so something must have needed resetting

But back to TFWG...

Camp weather takes on many forms in calling the shots for camp activities.

Calling the shots for camp activities is best left to the shot calling experts such as WMC and the divine Dave.

Divine Dave has been doing a nice job promoting band camp extensively throughout the world and that is why he was promoted to International Band Camp Executive Director.

Anyacat, seems to me you have plenty of shoes although I'm suspect about that pair that is pink, white, and brown. What, no flipflops? ;D Have fun this weekend. Use plenty of sunblock. Wear a hat. Stay hydrated. I hope you and your 'girls' come back with a nice tan. :D

International Band Camp Executive Director is an office with a great deal of responsibility but no pay.

(Travel Observation: I just want you to know that the pink/brown/white shoes are spectacular, particularly when worn with the pink jeans and brown linen blouse, neither of which I am bringing this trip. My pallet this time is pink, green and white (with touches of turquoise). I don't do flip flops. The sun is never kind to the fair skinned, so I have a supply of no. 100. But I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that those plaid canvas shoes match the plaid blouse--exact shades of kiwi and turquoise. What a lucky break.)

The best summer ever is coming up this summer here at the TFWG, unless we all keep getting blocked out on "your session expired while you were posting" messages like I did yesterday.

It's all good though. I had a reeeal good reply that kept on getting shut out, it woulda boggled all minds!
But then the frustration set in and I can't remember specifics. :-[
Who's Divine Dave? Or is it Dave Devine? Does his last name start with M?

Like I did yesterday and the day before and the day before that but then I was told not to do that anymore so I don't.

Pink jeans sound interesting, Anyacat. Bound to get you noticed. Are they lo-rise?? Do you tend to show any skin?? Do you have a belly button ring? And, more importantly, if you do, can you send me a pic of you showing your belly button ring?? 8)

So I don't send photos depending on the imagination, which is always better than the reality.
