Fantastic word game

A large chunk of their soul will be the price to pay for those foolish program directors and station owners who fail to recognize the ratings and revenue bonanza that awaits them with a 24-7 Olivia Newton John format.

The blazing summer sun and the vagaries of teenage love/lust were the subject of a little ditty that Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta sang called "Summer Nights."

"Summer Nights" (the time of day and season not the song) are wasted on band campers who persist in their hopeless juvenile devotion to Olivia Newton-John.

Olivia Newton-John is worthy of all honor, praise, affection, and adoration heaped upon her by red-blooded, all-American guys like me and Quad.

Me and Quad have a LOT of things in common... :-*

That being said, I'm sure Olivia is ok with us idolizing her as we do here day after day and perhaps someday, as I'm sure she's reading this (because 97.2% of the world reads TFWG), she will grace us with her presence.

The TFWG still pines for the lovely ONJ so maybe someone (Quad) can contact one of her many fan clubs on line and get a message to her so that she knows she has become the most popular recurring theme on TFWG.

By the way, I know I commented on this once many moons ago early on in the evolution of our TFWG moniker but it is unnecessary or dare I say even redundant to use the word "the" in front of TFWG since the T in TFWG already denotes the word "the". Your cooperation in future posts is greatly appreciated.

The most popular recurring theme on TFWG keeps me coming back for more and more.

We're all aware of the "the TFWG" situation, dm. However, since TFWG has become it's own entity and we always refer to it as practically our own child, the "the" has become quite commonplace in describing it. I, for one, have zero issues with using 'the'. But to each his own. Whatever works for each individual is, I think, what we decided earlier on. And we thank YOU for your caring insight.

More and more I like the redundancy of "the TFWG" because without the article, it seems cold and sterile, and the extra "T" makes the organization's name sound more weighty than just saying "TFWG" or "The FWG."

As long as we are talking about important topics like Olivia though, I can be flexible.

The FWG is a great place to meet people like Quadraponic, WMC, and Raptus Regaliter... :-*
