Fantastic word game

Spoken at band camp, in reverential tones, are the lyrics to Get a Job:
Get a job Sha na na na, sha na na na na
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Yip yip yip yip yip yip yip yip
Mum mum mum mum mum mum
Get a job Sha na na na, sha na na na na

Sha na na na, sha na na na na are lyrics that goes back to the 50s with music known as duwop.

Female groups are great especially if they are filled with hot chicks but there weren't any chicks at all in Sha Na Na.

In fact, the current incarnation of the group Sha Na Na just appeared at a performance theatre here in central Mass. last weekend. The local paper gave them a very good review.

Sha Na Na has as probably it's most famous former member Jon Bauman aka Bowser who currently performs with his group The Stingrays around the country at various fairs, amusement parks, cruise ships, and conventions.

Fairs, amusement parks, cruise ships, and conventions are places that you rarely see AndreaJesus at... :-*

Escapades at band camp, after their usefulness is exhausted by youtrube and googlevideos, will probably one day show up on documentaries produced for the high-number sat/cable channels like FreeSpeech TV or LinkTV.

FreeSpeech TV or LinkTV never do stories about 50s girl groups, which added so much to the doo-wop era.

Doo-wop era music is good but I was really pleased this afternoon while I was working in a store and my dreamgirl Olivia Newton-John came on the store's music system and sang to me and asked "Have You Never Been Mellow?"

"Have You Never Been Mellow", even in a store environment, makes me want to forget shopping, even if it's something important like diapers, and just sit and listen and enjoy it for a little bit.

A little bit of andreajesus is better than a whole LOT of Olivia Newton-John...

Olivia Newton-John would probably disagree with you, andrea, so it's a good thing she isn't here right now or the two of you might end up in a mudfight.

;D

Least recorded songs include Lollypop, which was recorded once, although the band camp band might try it next Labor Day.

Labor Day is a long way off, but this Sunday the Easter Bunny will be hanging out in town again.
