Fantastic word game

A very long time ago, someone wrote a song:
He says was here
You say were here
He says tomay-toe
You say tomah-toe

Was here, were here
tomay-toe, tomah-toe
Let's call the whole thing off!

Let's call the whole thing off is one of those classic American standards written by George & Ira Gershwin who were by the way for you young'ins who might not know, brothers.

Brothers often take their sibling rivalry on the road to our amusement, like the Marx Brothers, the Ritz Brothers, The Brothers Four (who are not brothers) and the Smothers Brothers.

The Smothers Brothers had a very popular television show, the Gershwin Brothers gave us rhapsodic music, The Wright Brothers gave us aviation, and The Bellamy Brothers sent us soaring to new heights.

Doobie Brothers, like the Righteous Brothers are not real brothers like The Bee Gees, The Jacksons, and The Osmond Brothers.

The Andrews Sisters introduced the song Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy in a movie called Buck Privates with a couple of guys from New Jersey you may have heard of, Abbott & Costello.

Abbott and Costello made for quite a famous pairing as did Burns and Allen, Martin and Lewis, and dmargalotti and Silkie.

Top Billing often goes to family acts such as the Osmonds, The Jackson Five, and the Jonas Brothers.

People, I'd like you all to welcome quadraphonic back to the game as it seems he disappeared for a few days although I did notice that he was posting on other threads instead.

But I trust you've managed to keep up with your usual backlog of TPS reports.
