Mid-west residents may be enjoying spring today but we New Englanders are facing a chillier rainy day today while yesterday was our first 70 degree day of the year.
Our first 70 degree day of the year here in the south was a month or so ago, but then, for a couple weeks, it went back and forth between hot and cold a lot.
It's going to be 93 degrees most days here soon enough, so I will relish the highs in the low 80s as I compile the TFWG's voluminous springtime TPS Reports.
We all enjoyed the beautiful outdoors especially dmargalotti and Silkie who paid unannounced visits to each band camp location in the northeast quadrant of the country.
Each band camp location in the northeast quadrant of the country had the same dull, boring routine, so we visited the rockin' band camps where the band campers knew they had a better idea.
Few and far between were the rockin band camps so the Executive Director and his staff of one made the decision to spend the summer months on the road visiting the North American sites in order to get them up to speed.
Just remember to get your mileage and expense reports (and TPS reports) in to quad on a timely basis while you are out there. PowerWorld directors appreciate your team attitude.
Up to speed was not the best way to describe what the other band camps were experiencing, although everywhere we went they were all uniform in every respect at all times.
Naturally the band camp mixologist was on hand to listen to any concerns of hardships and to offer any words of comfort that might be helpful, recognizing that PowerWorld might have a quiz.
They were all uniform in every respect at all times due to the cooperation of all staff members and we all look forward to the same results during the upcoming Executive Band Camp South American Tour.
the upcoming Executive Band Camp South American Tour promises to be exciting because of the beautiful glaciers, and exotic birds as well, to be found in Argentina.
A bad girl who made good is probably how we could describe our good friend andreajesus who seems to have disappeared about the same time as quadraphonic.
In fact, has anyone ever seen the two of them in the same room at the same time? Hmmmmmm. COINCIDENCE?? I think not! :
An evening with Olivia Newton-John reading all 640 pages of TFWG by romantic candle light before retiring to the cozy confines of my Band Camp Executive Director office for a little canoodling is something I can only dream of.
