Fantastic word game

Irrepressibly juvenile are we; however, to be otherwise would simply defeat the whole purpose of band camp.

Fine with me, all this juvenile behavior and irrepressible jocularity.

The Board of Directors has asked me to advise dm and Cat that their most recent contributions (dm's is above) are not considered sentences by said Board. They are also distressed that subsequent posters did not rectify the situation. Furthermore, they are becoming more than a little annoyed with Silkie's semicolons. They feel that things may be getting out of hand and would like everyone to please pay strict attention to the One Sentence Rule..

And now me speaking: I told you guys to watch out or the Board would speak up. I told you, didn't I? Didn't I? I gotta say it: I told you so. ;)

The whole purpose of band camp is a getaway from the trials and tribulations of real life and hopefully you can learn something in the process

Learn something in the process of TFWG participation, and you'll be a step ahead of the rest of the world at some point in your life, hopefully.

Hopefully that's true, quad, and we'll all be better for it.

A verbal tongue lashing from WMC is nothing compared to a verbal or written tongue lashing from the Board of Directors who have the final say-so.

A badge of honor varies: It might be a medal from the Belgium government for courageous deeds or a verbal tongue lashing from WMC; although I do wonder what a non-verbal tongue lashing from WMC might entail.

(Travel Note: Today, I am going to a Jerry Springer taping, to sit in the audience not on the stage, I will report back later.)

A non-verbal tongue lashing from WMC might entail a lot of things that would make Olivia Newton-John blush, because she is so sweet and innocent.

maybe a few TFWG PowerWorld participants would blush too, but I kind of doubt it ;)

She is so sweet and innocent, which puts me in mind of an old quote, "There is a sweetness of character that stinks".

(Hee hee)

"There is a sweetness of character that stinks," sounds like sour grapes to me.

(Went to see Jerry Springer taping. Can now check that off the list and file it away under HO-HUM."

Too much, too soon.

(Naw, it really was coma inducing, except for the fist fight and dance off between the two gay guys.)

Too much, too soon is the best way to describe the mid 90s temperatures for the past several days.

I better lay off the literary quotations before I am actually taken seriously

For the past several days I have been in a contrary mood.

(But then there was that guy who bared his bottom for Jerry Beads)

Mood swings of the various PowerWorld Board members vary so drastically because of these latest non-sentence postings that the PowerWorld Boardroom could turn into its own version of Jerry Springer.

I didn't realize Jerry's show was still on. I thought it had finally gone the way of Maury, Montel, and the other irrelevant talk shows.

Jerry Springer, is still running the same premise of a show he's done since the early 90s, and unfortunately Maury Povich has been mired in a "teen girls gone bad/check the DNA of my baby" slump for at least as long.

The saddest part is that there are people who watch both shows so hard that they can tell if it's a rerun, so they have to tape new shows to this day to slake those people's thirst for drivel.
