Fantastic word game

The World Is A Ghetto was a hit for the group that called itself War, although "Summer" is more appropriate for band camp purposes.
 
Summertime, written by George & Ira Gershwin, will be used in all television and radio commercials during our upcoming world-wide media blitz to recruit future attendees for the 2009 International Summer Band Camp Jamboree.
 
The 2009 International Summer Band Camp Jamboree will feature balloon animals, a monster truck rally, and a special appearance by Todd the Disinterested Clown.

Welcome aboard Darth. I'd offer you some advice, but taking my advice around here is probably not a very good idea.
 
A special appearance by Todd the Disinterested Clown is tentativelyy scheduled and will be cancelled if Olivia Newton-John accepts this year's invitation.
 
Olivia Newton-John accepts this year's invitation to headline the musical acts at the 2009 Summer Band Camp International Jamboree because she knows quad, raptus, silkie, WMC, and dmargalotti will be there to welcome her.

All the little band camp cherubs were hoping in vain for more contemporary entertainment.

Wandering about singing, "Cigars, cigarettes, cigarillos" is actually one of the things Olivia Newton-John does in my dreams, but then again in my dreams, at one time or another, she does about everything.
 
About everything I could possibly do to get Olivia here I have done including snailmailing, faxing, emailing, carrier-pigeoning, phoning, cell phoning, smoking signaling, signing, talking to her face to face, Western Unioning, and sending a message in a bottle so, at this point, if she doesn't show up, it's because she doesn't like us.
 
Quad's private, inner sanctum is visited only by the precious few and methinks that is where andreajesus is hiding.


Seriously, where'd she go again?? Maybe she found Stuart and disappeared with him again. ???
 
Andreajesus is hiding, Stuart is missing, kenrayc and basnya only make sporadic cameos, the Dude pops in occasionally but his appearances for the most part go unnoticed, and Ssummers only appears when you mention his name but the rest of the regulars have done a good job in making consistent contributions.
 
Consistent contributions will not come from me starting tomorrow as I will be heading to the Sunshine State for a relaxing, vegging, do-nothing-but-sun-my-buns vacation.


But I'll be here off and on today and possibly early tomorrow morning before I head to the airport.

Quad, you are in charge starting tomorrow through next Saturday. Delegate as you see fit.
 
A relaxing, vegging, do-nothing-but-sun-my-buns vacation in the Sunshine State pales in comparison to a death march from one fire works extravaganza to another.

(Precisely where are you going, maybe I can recommend a great fireworks display and/or restaurant.)
 
One fireworks extravaganza to another is not in the plans because I don't think they have any in Daytona Beach.


Although maybe they do for the 4th of July. However, I have no plans on seeing the Anyacat Memorial Fireworks Disney World Parade in Orlando. ;D
 
Daytona Beach is the location of President Warren G. Harding's home, which is now an Italian restaurant.

(Travel Tip: I am told that the roast boneless duck breast at The Cellar Restaurant is quite good. The restaurant is located at 220 Magnolia Ave, the former home of Warren Harding. It's a AAA, three diamond establishment, so it must be good.)
