Fantastic word game

Panic is that anxious little feeling that some band campers get when they cannot get the motor running.

Get the motor running and go out in support of your local band camp bag pipe band, which just might be good enough to compete in a local highland games.

(Caber toss anyone?)

Highland games competitions will be held in the intermissions between marching band competitions, the reverse of what you'd expect to see anywhere outside of band camp.

"Dr. Phil" and "Oprah" are shows that I have never watched although I would be inclined to tune in if the hosts were to engage in a little tag team wrestling with Maury Povich and Tyra Banks.

Baby mama dramas are rarely seen at band camp and are never accompanied by bang pipe bands, unless the Dropkick Kennedy's are around.

Around these parts we enjoy a rousing session of allnight bagpipe jams, but I don't think I've ever heard of anyone around here playing the bang pipes.

is that a regional thing? ;)

The bagpipes skirrl, the kilts swirl and everyone wonders if the kilts will blow like Marilyn Monroe's dress.

Joe DiMaggio in his prime was one of the greatest players in NY Yankee history but today's band camp kids probably have no knowledge of his baseball career or his post-baseball stint as the TV pitchman for Mr. Coffee.

Nookie is often impossible, even in the band camp cove-o-love, when the bagpipe band is marching.

At the 11 p.m. closing ceremonies the Official Band Camp Pipers will play my personal favorite, Flowers of the Forest.
