Fantastic word game

World War II is often portrayed as a time when everyone in the United States worked for a common cause; but history shows that the number of people in the United States who were against the war exceeded the number of people who were against Vietnam in the 1960s--the difference is people did not take to the streets to protest.

Protest is not an option when the jig is up and a problem band camper from faraway places eventually winds up being disregarded and kicked to the curb for flagrant and defiant refusal to conform to PowerWorld's Delray Beach Standards.

PowerWorld's Delray Beach Standards may seem onerous, but without rules you have band camp chaos.

Bernie Kopell is really a female repeat counterfeit of 99 and always promises that she's going to "pop it in the mail", "pop it on for ya", and other reckless slang that demonstrates why Kaos will always be a loser.

Coke with a wedge of lemon is tasty, as it is with a wedge of lime, which we might serve over the Memorial Day holiday at the band camp picnic cake that Silkie decorates like an American Flag.

The band camp picnic cake that Silkie decorates like an American Flag is something I plan to devour immediately when everyone else takes the time to stand and salute that tasty looking flag.

stand and salute that tasty looking flag, but puleeeze do not reread my last post, because I have a word out of place, which is rather unusual.

to make my correction, it should read "at the band camp picnic with a cake that Silkie decorates like an American flag.

I have a word out of place which is rather unusual because I know anytime I make spelling or sentence structure erros that the TFWG community and our respected Linguistics Czar will call me on it.

You never should have said anything. That band camp picnic cake sounded odd but, then again, perfectly normal and I got a sentence out of it. :D

"Call me on it" is a phrase I hear twenty times a week as women strangers sense my disorientation as they hand me a cell phone, which is sometimes the newest model with all the bells and whistles, and is sometimes, especially from the older ladies, a bag phone.

Thee is one of those archaic pronouns, not unlike thine and thou.

Yeah, I guess I could have let the awkward sentence slide, given that "with" means so many things anyway.

Anyacat said:
A bag phone, a jug of wine, and thee.

Before we get too far along, let's write an actual sentence, shall we, Miss Anyacat, even if it's something stupid like:

A bag phone was something used by The Unknown Comic whose shtick was performing with a bag over his head.

Anyacat, have a safe flight to Germany. We expect you to pop in and say hello to us and maybe even post in German or something. ;D
