Fantastic word game

Cereal and yoghurt (or yogurt) aren't my favorite dishes but I do realize many people eat both on a daily basis.

Page 1000 Countdown Clock: 296 pages to go

Time together at band camp decreases as we get older because we have all scattered to our own corners of the Earth.

Unfortunately, there isn't any pots-o-cream in my corner so I need Anyacat to stop by with some of hers. ;)

Our own corners of the earth can never really be corners, because a ball does not have a corner so, in the natural order of things we come around again.

We come around again in the natural order of things but I don't think I could come around again and play through 700+ pages (heading towards 1000) of TFWG all over again because that would be too much.

Then again, TFWG 2 has a certain ring to it. ::)

Limits such as ours are good to keep our little family going but probably not enough to support a large extended posting family.

A large extended posting family would probably find it difficult to understand our devotion to Olivia Newton-John, band camp, and bag pipes, but they might like the cocktail hour.

The cocktail hour is a good marketing tool to recruit new members to TFWG and, if he doesn't use it already, our International Executive Band Camp Director needs to use that powerful tool on his overseas business trips.

His overseas business trips should also include the fact that our band camp has a world class mixologist.

Is Silkie ever gonna live down having scheduled Father's Day on Flag Day, besides a week's worth of old stories and translations that were not called out, but are on the way from that bad band camp's lizard lair?

How to make a Pittsburghed steak:

Get a nice thick NY Strip from your favorite butcher.
Once you have the grill all fired up, blacken one side and then the other leaving the steak extremely rare.

It's not as easy as it would seem to grill a perfectly Pittsburghed steak.

Summarily dispatched to the dung heap are such networkers as those bad band campers and their antics.

Band campers and their antics are cute when they are younguns, but cautionary tales abound when you consider the band campers' antics that have lead to grownup things like music careers, or even babies.

House is the name of a TV series that I have not seen, although everyone I know tells me I will love it.

(Travel Tip: At the Wagon Trail Campground in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin, you can rent a yurt that will sleep five people for $79 to $85 a night. The Yurt does not come with private restroom facilities, but I hear the communal facilities are quite nice. You supply your own bed linen and towels. The campground, although quite lovely has a number of rules concerning noise abatement (quiet times), bike riding, and campfires (you cannot bring wood in and you cannot scavenge the surrounding woods for firewood. It's inexpensive but there's something of the Gulag about it. But if you have young children and want to get away to a nice quiet spot, this could be your place.)
