All her loveliness is just one of the reasons we love Silkie, as well as Olivia Newton-John and Arlene Baybay or whoever was that girl I'm too lazy to look up from a few pages back.
 
Back and forth, to and fro, we danced hard and also gently rocked and danced into the late night at the big band camp celebration.
 
THE CORNER is where you might find some band camp members working in the seedier side of town so they can make money to buy SOME NEW MUSICAL INSTUMENTS.
 
Some new musical instruments are needed season by season as end-of-season band camp celebrations occasionally result in the occasional instrument getting occasionally tossed into the band camp lagoon.


And we won't even talk about the year when the cheerleaders decided to go commando and dive in and recover all those musical notes. Took many weeks and many company newsletter apologies to get beyond that. Quad remembers that, don't you quad.
 
End-of-season band camp celebrations occasionally result in the occasional instrument getting occasionally tossed into the band camp lagoon, and then a couple of band camp members wade into the lagoon unnoticed for a skinny dip, as Roy Orbison's "You Got It" plays from the superb band camp speaker system.
 
The superb band camp speaker system is world-renowned and, once in a while, when band camp is deserted between sessions, well known artists will come in under the cover of darkness and secrecy to rehearse for upcoming tours.

Begging you to call in and win free tickets to the TFWG music concert, radio stations were forced by PowerWorld to make sure they didn't require listeners to do stupid things such as devouring hotdogs or living in a car for as long as possible.
 
Devouring hotdogs or living in a car for as long as possible is not something we band campers do in the sweltering heat, especially when Silkie prepared a picnic lunch of fried chicken, cole slaw and potato salad, along with a great big cake and banana cream pie for the humongous band camp celebration continuation.
 
The humongous band camp celebration continuation was a lavish fixture for several years but, this year, was scaled down due to economic standards and potentially poor media exposure.


How we'll get along this fall without all those giant squash and butter sculptures, I just don't know. I'm quite sure our ED and the mixologist have plans in place. ;)
 
A crack staff means drinking a six pack of beer and a bottle of wine all night.

A bottle of wine all night is no way to keep up the PowerWorld and TFWG Standards and, so, from this point on, we'll be keeping a close eye on crainbebo and his actions.
 
We'll be keeping a close eye on crainbebo and his actions, at least through his probationary employment period, and even then, because of HIIPA and OSHA regulations, almost exclusively from the waist up.
 
From the waist up, I was very excited picking up KVNS 1700 in Brownsville, TX this winter, being over 2020 miles away, I was telling everyone to turn on their radios and see if KVNS pops up on your radio.

Telling everybody to turn on there radios and see if KVNS pops up on your radio and I did that and I receive XEPE from San Diego instead, a News/Talk station actually located in Mexico.
 
XEPE from San Diego instead, a News/Talk station actually located in Mexico, is the location to which crainbebo and kenrayc should go to work on their sentence structure because, as we can all see from the last two posts, it is plainly horrible.
