Fantastic word game

BluBlockers may be able to protect the eyes from harmful u.v. rays but in no way can they save the ladies of TFWG from the shock of seeing certain people here exposing their upper torso.

Easily preventable upper torso exposure by men is a crime in and of itself, especially nicely built, wooly upper torsos of the hubba hubba band camp men.

Whew! Missed putting the latter part of that sentence in bold. Didn't get caught though. ;D

NASA astronauts never went to the moon, but they did go to a nice movie set in the desert.

I know this because of a movie I saw in the seventies starring O.J. Simpson. And he's the most trustworthy person in the United States.

A horse with no name, with alligator lizards even, slinks and stalks through our band camp, announcing that it will arrive for Sunday Brunch, at the same time claiming to live in our band camp, all the while trying to trade places, to appear as the regal pegasus, calling our band camp insignificant and of no known noteworthy value, obscure, not even so much as knowing that our band camp has been a national treasure, holding nationwide acclaim for many years in a number of different ways including just the very name of our band camp.

Just the very name of our band camp strikes fear and terror into the hearts of rival band campers everywhere.

Holy cow Silkie...after reading your last post, I feel like I just spent 3 non-stop hours on the Tilt-a-whirl ride. ???

Everywhere we go people wish they were a part of our band camp, because their own band camps simply do not hold up when it comes to all things cultural"

Sorry 'bout that, dmargalotti; I was aiming for the Roundup ride. :D

When it comes to all things cultural I can turn on my shortwave receiver and tune about until I find something interesting, however, this seems to be dwindling in recent years due to the ravages of Internet streaming and DVB-S audio channels.

That's what prompted VOA to drop its number of transmitters operating in the USA to one, and even killed the Beeb's "World Service" broadcasts on shortwave a few years back. On the other hand BBCWS does sound far clearer in 48000 kHz 128 kbps mono M1L2, on my Pansat, than I ever remember from listening on SW through my old, narrowband DX-360 (and my somewhat wider DX-375 a few years later. ;o)

DVB-S audio channels, and video channels too, are optimized with a high powered receiver, and we soon discovered that the horror shows and terror thrillers being aired at band camp were several year old reruns that we had missed previously.

The Olivia Newton-John Channel revealed that for four plus years the paparazzi had been following her and John Travolta around, chronicling their every move and, of course, making stories up as they went along, which was, to our dismay, a horrendous shock and trauma to poor Olivia and John.

Poor Olivia and John soon realized that they were America's Couple and wouldn't get a moment's rest unless they and their families retreated to the PowerWorld Band Camp Sanctuary.

And that was 1978 when band camp was bare-bones. ;D

They and their families retreated to the PowerWorld Band Camp Sanctuary, and shortly thereafter TFWG PowerWorld Celebrity Security managed to convince by its very convincing methods the paparazzi to cease and desist.

Her pulchritude leaves me breathless, speechless, helpless, and powerless, not quite unlike the reaction Superman has to Kryptonite but in this case it's a good thing...a very good thing.
