Fantastic word game

In your coffee, according to the Carly Simon song Your So Vain, there were clouds.

Regarding the disappearance of Quad and Anyacat...do you think this could be like one of those horror movies where one by one, members of a group mysteriously disappear? And then in the end, there are only two people left and one of them is the killer! Perhaps a certain crazed game czar has decided some people aren't worthy of playing because they can't follow the rules and so they've been eliminated...permanently! OK, now I'm scared.
 
There were clouds, and they were dark, and rain spilled all over the campground and the crazed killer searched for unsuspecting bandcampers.


Well, it's not me, that's for sure, but I was thinking the same thing but I suspect tennvol and kenrayc who seemingly came out of nowhere and suddenly started contributing and didn't even need reminders of rules. Verrrrrrrrrrrrry suspicious, if you ask me.

Yes, I know that's a strange sounding sentence (I caught Silkie-itis) but I had to welcome Cat back. Welcome back, Anyacat. VERY happy to see you. You may review the last several weeks at your leisure. I'm just that nice. Meanwhile, quad is missing since earlier in the week so any TPS Reports or other paperpwork can come straight to me. Any pay no attention to those Cat/quad rumors that dmargalotti has been starting.

I had not gone back to read what has been happening, but that I hear dead dave has spread some no doubt scandalous supposition about where, what, who, and how, I may bestir myself to do so--or maybe not. Meanwhile, my research into Patagonia suggests that I may have waited a little too long to make that particular trek.
 
Hello to you too and I thought you were kidding about travelling to Patagonia (whereever that is, now I'll have to google it) but I guess you weren't.
 
I guess you weren't taking me seriously, but I am still serious about Patagonia, a wild and windy place that is partly in Argentina and Partly in Chili, and is for those who want to kayak the glaciers and hike into the wilderness.

(If you do google, take a look at Hotel Remota, no TV but warm baths at the end of a hiking day)
 
Wilderness isn't really for me but if I can go with you I'll do it.


I started reading about Patagonia on Wiki but got bored really quickly. But the pictures were pretty. But, seriously, let us know next time that you'll be away for awhile. Many of us were worried. Me especially. Actually, onlly me. dm only spread rumors and raptus only thought of himself. Now we have quad to worry about.
 
The end of TFWG is nowhere in sight and our quest to Page 1000 continues on and on.

Our quest to Page 1000 continues on and on and I too would like to give a hearty welcome back to Anyacat who contrary to what I surmised was not sharing a romantic interlude with Quad but was instead traveling to Patagonia which from what I've been able to learn apparently does not have among it's attractions a nightly fireworks display.
 
A nightly fireworks display is usually something to which Anyacat is attracted but this time she was attracted to wilderness, mountains, and other Patagonian stuff.
 
Wilderness, mountains, and other Patagonian stuff, on our quest to Page 1000, must surely be considered piddlingly Lilliputian.
 
Piddingly lilliputian is redundant terminology, but that said, welcome back, Anyacat; and neither term would apply to Patagonian stuff.

Breakfast/brunch recipe for eggs benedict:

you will need English muffins
eggs
Canadian ham
Hollandaise sauce, as follows:

separate the yolks from at least three eggs (adjust later if you need to)
1 TBSP water (cold for just plain old, hot for lighter)
1 stick of butter - that's butter
A lemon, cut in half

Put the egg yolks in a sauce pot with your water waaay low heat and whisk until fluffy. Add about a 1/4 stick of butter and whisk until it is melted and blended in and your sauce looks as though it is thickening. Continuing adding butter a pat or so at a time and stir as it melts. Don't let the sauce boil! Maybe a double boiler if you are prone to overheat stuff. After you have used all of your butter, squeeze a few drops from your lemon and taste. Don't overdo the lemon. You can always add, but cannot take it out.

On toasted English muffin, place on each half browned Canadian ham, followed by a poached egg. Top with Hollandaise sauce.

Feel free to garnish (around the outer edges of the plate, not the eggs benedict) with fresh asparagus and strawberry halves.

Coffee and Mimosas (orange juice with champagne) are lovely additions to your eggs benedict.

How delicious!

Piddingly Lilliputian and very self-serving are my requests for everyone to do what they can to achieve our Page 1000 Quest and I am happy to see that our friend Kudzooter has dropped by to assist us even though he is a rare sight here on these TFWG boards.

But, hey, anyone who wants to help us out is more than welcome even if they drop by for just a page or two.


Edit: Silkie got in a post before me but I see that she has neither remembered to bold an ending clue and she has, in fact, created a two-sentence post which, while furthering our Page 1000 Quest, is against the rules. Thusly, I am keeping my post (above) and the next poster can use my clue, her nonexistent clue, a combination of them, or create a new one altogether.


Edit #2: Silkie modified and bolded her clue but I'm keeping mine there anyway cuz I can. ;o)
 
He is a rare sight here on these TFWG boards where everyone, even the lowest reprobate, is welcomed.
