Fantastic word game

A great job was done by Louis Armstrong when he sang "What A Wonderful World" (our wedding song)

If anyone gets a free minute could you go over to the "Coast to Coast" Board, I asked a question over there and would like some feedback!

Thanks

What A Wonderful World this will be when we reach Page 1000 as worldwide celebrations will commence, confetti will be thrown, kisses will be given, and all will be right with the world.

Stuart, your little infatuation for TheDude is very cute. But let it go. He is not involved here. The rules are:

-Your clue may be a word, proper name, or phrase (which for some is a very long-winded phrase). This game has evolved mightily from when it started and if people (Silkie) want to be long-winded and if people (Silkie) want to provide long clues, that's fine, as long as the clue is highlighted (I believe it's Yekimi who capitalizes his clues, which is fine) and that the contribution itself is a well-constructed sentence which, unfortunately, some people (Silkie) can't/don't do on occasion and for which they are chastised as someone was just a couple of days ago.

-The only other rule is TheDude Rule. TheDude doesn't follow the simple rule of highlighting a clue. So, TheDude Rule states that you may choose your own clue from his post, use his entire post, or that you may create a new post altogether and completely ignore TheDude's post.

It's that simple.

TFWG thanks you for your support and once again extends a hearty welcome back from the North Carolina hinterlands.

All will be right with the world if the Dow Jones goes down 2000 points.

The Detroit Lions, as the other NFL teams are looking forward to a great season this year.

WMC, you are correct, "The Dude" is no longer with us, I just have to accept that and move on. Who has taken over as the NCOIC (Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge?)

The punk revolution fashions, though passe now, are still in vogue as part of the whole Goth attire, which was banned by parents of many band campers.

WMC2006, are you still jealous of The Dude? You silly, you!

Band campers will be paying tribute to the Punk Rock revolution this weekend as they perform a marching band medley of songs by The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, and The Clash.

People, people people. We are not paying attention. Stuart, your contribution is not a sentence. Where's the sentence structure?? Does no one know how to write anymore???? Stuart, I'm afraid I must assign 1 demerit to your account. It would have been 4 demerits but you've been gone but I'm happy you're back but this is your 2nd infracture since returning. Everyone, before I blow another gasket, please pay attention. And, if you see that someone's post is not a sentence, call them on it and do what needs to be done. PowerWorld and TFWG appreciate your support.

Silkie, WHY would I be jealous of TheDude????????? Why why why??? You need to get out of that library, Silkie, and get some fresh air.

Stuart, once again, here is our hierarchy which has not changed all that much in recent months and it was this way before you left so here we go again. Here is the Executive Hierarchy for TFWG:

Game Czar: WMC2006
TPS Report and other Paperwork Czar: quadraphonic
Linguisitics Director: raptusregaliter
Director of Energy and Tourism: Anyacat
International Band Camp Director: dmargalotti

Not Executive Hierarchy but still important backoffice staff:

Mixologist/head librarian: Silkie
Chief Flirt: andreajesus

Band camp banana creme pie fights are always fun because the end result is washing everything off each other in the TFWG Fish Pond.

The TFWG Fish Pond is not meant for bathing or swimming or anything other than recreational sport fishing so I'm afraid you'd better pick another location Mr. Game Czar for your post band camp banana cream pie fight group bathing.

Group bathing would only appeal to me if the group was limited to myself, anyacat, silkie, and the delightful andreajesus.

I think I feel a Penthouse letter coming on...

The delightful andreajesus surely has never been the subject of a Penthouse letter.

Letter of the law has NEVER been followed here in TFWG - why start now?? ;)

Now and then we catch low in the food chain nasty little primadonna campers from elsewhere flouting the law as they aggressively drive like imbeciles, almost off the road rubbernecking at something off the road, and honk at bicyclists in the bicycle lane to get out of their way, while they simultaneously blow their faux secret agent status, as they try to hurry past, as our band campers send smoke signals to one another and watch vigilantly from the four corners of the earth.

From the four corners of the earth, you find band campers representing every race, nationality, ethnicity, and religion on the planet because it really is a small world after all.

It really is a small world after all has only served to remind me of that insipid tune that plays on the Disneyland ride of the same name, yea though I continue to age it is impossible to forget that time the boat stalled in the Chinese section of the ride and for close to 45 minutes I and the others had to endure the voices of the animatronic children singing... a good time it was not.
