Fantastic word game

The day shift was not the clue I originally started to post on, but I will go ahead with it, because you all don't need to know that my sweetie pie and I love The Met, especially the Dream Garden.
 
The Fountain of Imagination by itself is nothing, but the Imagination's Fountain at Epcot Center's Future World was one of band camp's favorite trips this summer.
 
Two Alaskan cruises with radio's Bruce Williams sounds ok except I am not familiar with Bruce Williams and my parents probably aren't either and they just happen to be on an Alaskan cruise right now.
 
Alaskan cruise right now is not as inviting as it would have been two weeks ago and three weeks ago when the weather was suffocatingly frightful, but a beer was delightful.
 
A beer was delightful in the hot summer sun but be careful not to drink and drive because we would hate to lose you on our continuing Quest To Page 1000.

A bang-up job is the goal of many young students as they enter Medical School at Duke University.

Maybe I am Lester Pate? (there is a good question...Who is (was) Lester Pate?) This is not a joke question, there is an answer. I do not think any of you youngsters will get it, however some of the "seasoned" players might.

Margaret says the Stuartness night shift went well. I'll here on the day shift again until about 2pm. Someone needs to pick up the afternoon/evening shift please.
 
Marmaduke chewed, went through garbage and caused a pretty good deal of anguish and pain to get to that place of stature and prestige
