Fantastic word game

"The Dude" just puts it out there for anyone who might be interested and deserves credit where credit is due.

We extend credit only to those with proper credentials, and not those who merely have an "in" somewhere, glitzy appearances or other little tricks to obtain what they want, because while some seem to be there, or on their way, it is most often a lot of meaningless, immature fluff.

A lot of meaningless, immature fluff posted on the internets, even if you were meaningless, immature, and fluffy when you posted it, will keep you off the employment rolls.

Because you said so, there will be no work tomorrow due to Labor Day.

My dear Silkie, I am going to have to point out a small infraction on your part. In my last post, the bold words were sesame ones. When you began your sentence, you just used the word Sesame. This is what I have been trying to point out. When this game started, we only used to use the last word only to form the next sentence.

Like I said, I just wanted to point this out before the usual whiners (WMC & others) make more out of this than is necessary
.

So you did, Stuart, and may I say how sorry I am for my infraction; so sorry in fact that I shall do penance. At some point. You know.

Labor Day gives me one extra late evening and a morning with my sweetie pie before we have to get ready to return to the work-a-day world.

The work-a-day world will be much nicer this week being that it will only be 4 days long.

It will be 4 days long for you but it somehow becomes a 6 day week for me and that's not even counting all the extra time I put in for the Stuartness Labor Day Weekend Intervention which I think has been highly successful and I am officially calling a halt to it.

Stuart, you are free to go home now. You've done very well and we are all very proud of you. And may I say how nicely you corrected Silkie on yet another transgression. What you could also have done regarding that, Stuart, is going ahead and posted using the previous clue (which happened to be your own) since Silkie followed up incorrectly. So, in that case, a nice correction and completely ignoring Silkie's post while following up on the previous clue is completely fine. Well done, young Stuart, well done. Mr. Allen is very pleased and so am I and so is the PowerWorld Board of Governors.

I am officially calling a halt to it because it has become evident that certain PowerWorld activities have become detrimental to the women of TFWG...

TFWG supports the women-folk and wishes there were more of them especially since one keeps disappearing, another pops up now and again, and the other is always here but tends to occasionally ramble on and on.

One keeps disappearing, another pops up now and again, and the other is always here but tends to occasionally ramble on and on, this is usually how how the weather patterns are during hurricane season over the Atlantic Ocean.

Thank you WMC for the compliment, I have learned from the best!

Everyone have a safe and happy Labor Day Holiday! (even the women-folk)

Atlantic ocean is far from where I'm at, I'm on the west coast, My favorate spot along the Pacific ocean is Pismo beach in Central California

Pismo beach in Central California would be a great place for andreajesus and raptus regaliter... ;)

People, all of you really need to learn how to write sentences. Stuart, you created two sentences. You didn't even try. Kenray, you created three sentences (17 demerits for you). This is why words such as a, an, and, the, but, as and some others exist. You need to use them. So I'm hijacking Stuart's, kenray's, and andrea's posts and going back to my own and we will continue from there. Please, everyone, please pay attention.

One keeps disappearing, another pops up now and again, and the other is always here but tends to occasionally ramble on and on but that's why I love them and TFWG wouldn't exist withiout them.

Does everyone see the 'but' in my sentence?? Had I merely thrown in a comma like many of you do, that would have created two sentences. We are all about ONE SENTENCE. Remember that you can't write the same way you speak. I really need to get Linguistics Director Raptus to start giving lessons. <sigh>

I'd like to be right beside each of you as you make your TFWG contribution so I can see what goes through your respective heads as you attempt to put your thoughts to message board but I can't so I ask all of you to please pay attention and that before you hit that POST button to please reread it aloud to yourself and, chances are, if it doesn't sound right then it probably isn't.

And if it does sound right, then reread it aloud several more times before you post.

Top 40, rap, hip hop or disco are popular radio formats.

To be honest, I was afraid to post this due to public scrutiny by WMC. I decided to post it anyway, because WMC just wants us to learn just as Mr. Allen wanted me to learn. I hope WMC can deal with disappointment as well as Mr. Allen could.

Although WMC, I have to admit this reads as a run on sentence!?
