Fantastic word game

Punk country music is one format that I never heard of, but one that would be interesting to hear is Heavy Metal Jazz.

Heavy metal jazz seems like a concept that might have originated in Seattle during the mid-1990s.

Chucks, dirty T-shirts, bad haircuts and Nirvana meets Brubeck. Whoda' thought? ;o)

Seattle in the mid 90s, after Kurt Cobain's death is when the Grunge sound started to fade and rock music went more towards the Alternative sound.

The Alternative sound has been around as long as there has been music because even as far back as the big band era, swing bands represented an alternative to the sounds of the earlier established sweet bands that played more melodious arrangements.

More melodious arrangements of popular songs have been available, in an instrumental form devoid of vocals, for several decades on Muzak's "Environmental" music programme.

Or, as American pop culture might know it, Muzak's "Elevator Music Channel". But I'm not gonna' get into that right now...........

Muzak's "Envirmental" music programme was popular over 25 years ago, being played in doctors offices, stores, and business offices, to later to be replaced with more comtemporary hits by original artists.

Kenray, my son, Darth's clue was Seattle during the mid-1990's. It was not Seattle in the mid 90s.

Am I being technical? Yes, I am, dammit. You people just want me to blow a gasket, don't you. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that SKenJenningsSummers brainwashed all of you into torturing me.

Mr dmargalotti, you posted shortly after kenray. You couldn't have picked up that infraction and done something about it? Hmmmm???

<sigh> What AM I going to do with all of you??

And, yes, Stuart, it was a run-on sentence. I was trying to make a point. Thanks for grasping it.

The artist is Olivia Newton-John and the era is timeless and dancing to this week's number 1 hit are The Solid Gold Dancers.

And I'm Robert W Morgan. ;o)

The Solid Gold Dancers would make us provide extra insurance if they performed at the TFWG this week, because the stage is staying so perpetually messy from both wild sentence errors and the morning dew.

The morning dew glistens on the silent stage as the maintenance crew prepares the showroom for another upcoming fall session.

TFWG Exective Board meeting regarding fall session one week from today. Hope you can all make it. And when I say you and all, I mean all of you meaning those of us on the Executive Board which is most of you. Silkie, you may attend as well. Andrea, as Chief Flirt, this wouldn't be an appropriate venue for you but I'd like you to attend as well.

Another upcoming fall session has the Clarion University Of Pennsylvania professors wondering if students will know proper sentence structure.

A plug for my alma-mater, where Mr. Allen allowed ME to go without proper knowledge of sentence structure!

Sentence structure is rarely as important in a college these days as it is here at the TFWG, mostly because college profs are trying to protect their jobs and tenure, while the TFWG profs are striving for perfection to Page 1000 and beyond!

Striving for perfection to Page 1000 and beyond is what most of us are committed to but I've got to wonder whether or not WMC will live to see that momentous occasion because I get the feeling the pressure of trying to maintain order around here is really starting to take a toll on his health and if you look closely, you can see stress written all over his face.

Written all over his face is much stress and anguish because, as Page 1000 draws closer and closer, he feels that everything he has tried working toward is falling apart at the seams because no one seems to care anymore and that makes him very very sad.

I try and I try and I try and what do I get in return? You don't write, you don't call........

That makes him very very sad, but he needs to get over the shortcomings of others, and sit and ponder about the fact that Olivia Newton-John is still around somewhere, making the world a better place.

Dang his fingers are fast though. This is what I originally typed:
Written all over his face is something that's a lot more stressful, and he'd be better off with a countenance that comes from reminiscing and remembering Olivia Newton-John is still around somewhere, making the world a better place.

Olivia Newton-John is still around somewhere, making the world a better place but I really do wish that she would dump that boyfriend of hers and realize that true love is right here waiting for her.

Dmargalotti is one of the workhorses of TFWG, and his name sounds like an Italian wine.

Right here waiting for her too, if you can't make it, dmargalotti! :D

Just to take a little pressure off of WMC, I would like to point out that Quad's post is not a sentence because both the subject and the verb are implied (i.e. [I am] Right here waiting for her too...) An implied subject can be acceptable under certain circumstances, an implied verb less so, and both together rare to never. I'll just chalk this up to extra imbibing over the long weekend and hope that we can all bear down now and submit quality work. WMC's iffy mental health may well depend on it.

Pismo beach in Central California would be a great place for andreajesus and raptus regaliter... ;)

I have printed this out and now carry it in my wallet along with the picture of my cat, my expired Mensa card, and a certain cellophane-wrapped 1.5" square package that no single man should leave home without. I've been carrying this one around since 1988, so I think it's still good. Now that Stuart's intervention is over, andrea, we should compare schedules, consult Priceline, and see what the fares are to California.

An Italian wine could probably be consumed with several dishes from other parts of the world.

WMC, I am always here for you.... "Just call out my name, and I will be there, ain't no mountain high enough, ain't to river wide enough to keep me from you"...(except when "Law & Order", "Law & Order SVU", and the new "Melrose Place" are on television)
