Fantastic word game

The Michael Richards Method does not involve the brandishing of illegal handguns but it does require one to be adept at uttering racially insensitive pejoratives.

Sunday, Sunday (ba-da ba-da-da-da)
So good to me (ba-da ba-da-da-da)
Monday mornin, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh monday mornin, monday mornin couldnt guarantee (ba-da ba-da-da-da)
That monday evenin you would still be here with me

Still be here with me, at least long enough to hear that that was at best a run-on sentence there Anyacat but there wasn't any punctuation to verify that it was even a sentence, and most sentences aren't formed into stanzas.

Stanzas are found in poetry as are sonnets but I'll be a monkey's uncle if I can tell the difference although I'm sure our band camp Librarian Silkie sure knows.

Our band camp Librarian Silkie sure knows that a two line stanza is a couplet, three line stanza is a tercet, four line is a quatrain, and so forth and so on, into octets, etc, etc, etc.

I also know for sure that if that is incorrect someone will call me out on it.

Yiddish-centric is giving me nothing but a blank to work with here so since I have nothing constructive to add to the conversation, I'll just say hello to everyone and I hope you all had a great day today.

Hey, I enjoyed Anyacat's stanza or whatever it was and, as a matter of fact, I'll take pretty much anything from Anyacat as long as it's pretty damned close to a sentence because she isn't posting nearly as much as she used to and I don't want to lose what we do get from her. ;o)

Matis Yahu is a musical artist I've never heard, but according to wikipedia his music is Reggae and close to Bob Marley.

Bob Marley is one of many artists who performed the song "I Shot The Sheriff"

The "Fair and Lovely Miss Anyacat" is subject to the game rules just like the rest of us. The rules do not apply to one person, his name is "The Dude".

I Shot The Sheriff by Eric Clapton was the original and will remain the best version of that song.

Precisely accurate information shows that our friend kenrayc is mistaken in his assertion that Eric Clapton's version of I Shot The Sheriff is the original because the song was written and first recorded by Bob Marley's band The Wailers although I do agree that Clapton had the better version.
